Anyone else notice that Sky Sports News continue to run segments on David Price? I know from time to time they have done that previously for fighters not on their network. (Im thinking Froch & Khan) But both of those ended up back with Sky.

Does anyone think there might be some sort of gentleman’s agreement between Sky & Price? And Price will eventually end up back there?

I’m not sure what the deal is with BoxNation. 3 or 5 fights. But its seems Sky are quite happy to give him air time and give him publicity.

    Thoughts?

I think I remember something when they dumped Hatton that Sky said they would still give his stable coverage on Ringside?

Anyway, even the BBC were showing the KO on their news channel and they normally don't touch British title fights at all.

Of course they want him back, he'll be back on Sky as soon as his contract with Maloney runs out.

it would be a serious mistake for them, PRICE will finish him, he is nothing and how he even got the ranking he has is beyond me.

there is far more Fan fair in Pricey, and he might even prove to be a British success story, with a great legend & legacy, he is REAL where as Fury has never been!!!

Fact of the matter is no boxer on boxnation will become a cross over star.

Not enough people subscribe to make these boxers stars and not enough exposure (no sky sports new/ringside etc) - Clev Burns examples.

Price should and will be on Sky before we know it.

Sky and Sky Sports don't ignore fighters who fight on other channels.

The sooner Price signs with Matchroom, the better. Maloney is an out of date, resourceless promoter who will not be able to develop Price properly.

Yeah, I noticed that and automatically you think they have a plan.

I'm getting a bit sick of the same old stuff on Sky tbh, I wish they would report a little more on general sports news instead of their own personal agenda.

It is vomit inducing at times.
