It does and until we know the terms on the offer we are pissing in the wind. Thats why I'm sticking to the boxing side of the debate rather than the money/ TV/ options stuff that we don't really know **** all about.
It seems out of the big 3 British HW prospects only 2 are improving (Chisora, Price) whilst Fury is regressing, getting knocked down by low KO % non-punchers and vacating titles.
We need to know the terms of the offer, although at this point its fair to guess that Mick probably put in a bogus offer because Price has been very vocal about wanting to get in the ring with Fury whilst the silence from the Fury camp has been deafening.
This fight would of been a measuring stick for us to see who has stepped up. Also to see who is the British No.1. Fury insulted the Lonsdale.
There is no way on this planet Hennessy offered £100k to a challenger to fight his Champion for a British title without ridiculous clauses. No way! If you did a poll on here i'm sure 90% PLUS of the posters would choose Price to KO Fury. No way Hennessey offers a better fighter that much money to come and Knock his only cash cow out. Even that fat idiot isnt THAT stupid..... (Just)
Fury must be scrambling around for an 'international opponent' with a record that suggests that he is more dangerous than Price, while in actual fact being markedly less so, so we all believe that he is actually taking the more courageous path here. That's no easy task, hence his silence.
wladamir pulled out of a fight with del boy is it because hes scared of chisora its easy for anyone to sit on esb amd say this type of **** but no one knows what has really been said and gone on.
Hardly the same thing - Wladimir did not vacate to do it, a higher profile alternative was guaranteed, purse bids were not imminent and Wladimir had demonstrated more than solid domestic abilities already, and had not specifically called out Chisora for about 30% of his career. The way that Fury marketed himself makes this worse. And I'm a fan!
