Discussions going on at the moment, but expect an announcement on Wednesday where Perez V Price will be confirmed for July 14th as chief support

Why on earth would Price take this fight? If Maloney is wanting him to eventually challenge a K-bro then he should start fighting some big eastern european no a short slick dangerous cuban fighter like Perez!

If Price's plan is to challenge for a world belt, taking Perez is the wrong way to go I think. That being said however, if he can take the power, he can take the win.

I think he's a bit green for a Perez fight yet though. Still untested in the chin department enough that he should not be fighting known power hitters.

says a lot about price that most people would bet against him in this fight.

Its a good fight for the fans but not the smartest fight for Price.

IF Perez is on top form and in shape he will walk all over Price.

I like Perez, but how can you say he 'walks all over' Price? Price's wins over Mcdermott and Sexton are better than any of Perez's wins. Tye Fields isn't as good as McDermot or Sexton.

Price would still be the favorite for me in this fight, Perez isn't active enough and his opponents in Prizefighter were not great.

Would love to see it, doubt it will happen though.

Too much risk, too little reward.
