I have to disagree with the majority here , Perez doesn't pose the threats the Bros pose , he has different physical dimensions for one and two he has a different style because of that But ................. if Price is to " continue to step up the level of opposition " , this fight has to be seen as one of several next logical steps The word from Maloney's mouth is " if David wanted Wladimir tomorrow id try and get him Wladimir tomorrow " so i don't think Maloney has any fears from any HW in the world , thats his personal opinion , the bigger the profile the better in Maloneys eyes i think !!! I like the fight if its true , source ??
i think price would walk all over him to be honest, perez looks like a really really poor version of tyson minus the power. i think its a step back, perez is hardly mr scary in the heavyweight division :think i could be wrong ive only seen him in prizefighter:roll:
Think Perez is a beast but he's not active enough. Would love to see the fight come off. Very risky for Price though, Perez can bang.
In terms of boxing ability he's world class , yes he looks like he doesn't have that much power but in pure skill terms he would be Price's best opponent to date by far
i honestly don't think anyone knows him though, its a step back in that resect. he may be v good, but his power will let him down, theres plenty of good boxers out there with not much power who get found out at euro level or below,i think perez will be one of those
Shocked if they go this route. Would be nice to see a fighter go to the top where real belief is shown in them. Povetkin seemed this way until someone mentioned Klitchsko and he absolutely melted.
I can remember when David Haye wished their was some other British heavyweights, he could have massive show downs with afew years ago. Now! It looks like we are on the brink of a special time in British heavyweight boxing.
