David Price v.s Konstantin Airich January 25th

Let's hope Airich doesn't have iron bars in his gloves this time

 

Price is 30 years old so they haven't really got time on their hands. It is a risky fight but the risk has to be taken at this stage of his career. Also lets face it if he can't beat Alrich then he aint going to make it anyway

 

Price said he wanted the Chisora fight later on this year but where does he stand now?

All the talk is of Fury v Chisora 2 in the summer and does he really deserve a shot at Fury if he beats Del Boy?

 

I think thats the reason he was rushed into the Thompson fight.He turned pro relatively late,didn't get a lot of rounds in,and wasn't all that active anyway.Then I think somebody thought "He's pushing 30,time we got a move on".Joshua seems to have got off to a good start,being activee,but appears to have slowed down a bit.Hope he has at least 6 this year.Same with David.Activity.

 

That's fair enough pal. I would say Skelton is the best name on Pricey's win column so far, but we both know that wasn't the same Matt Skelton who had done a young McDermott in a round, beat Michael Sprott twice, Danny Williams, went the full distance, but lost on points to Chagaev in a world title fight and retired Paolo Vidoz in Italy for the European.
Audley,McDermott and Se xton were good wins as well for David Price, but i feel if Airich comes into this wanting to win, but Price beats him then this can be one of his best wins. Airich last four fights he stopped Pala in 9, lost a UD over 12 to Solis, lost again on UD over 10 with Vyacheslav Glazkov and his last one doesn't look good getting KO'd in 1 to Manny Charr, but i think there is controversy he threw that fight.
