David Price vs Bermane Stiverne

Would be competitive both could just stand there and look at eachother for the last 5 rounds too knackered to to anything..

What a fun fight..

 

Against Joyce, Stiverne at least showed a willingness to swing for the fences, and character to hang in there while taking a pummelling. Those two traits alone would give him a better than even money shot at beating the current version of Price.

We all know Price can bang, but he seems to be showing less one punch threat these days. Stiverne has one of those unusual chins that can look iffy some days but rock solid on others; that may be as much down to the Wilder effect than anything though.

As strange as it seems, if Price does land a bomb and take Stiverne it would probably be his best win. That in itself probably underscores why it would be a bit of a turn-up.

Price isn’t going to get better at this stage. Stiverne also on the slide but from a higher peak. It wouldn’t be hard for him to land and Price isn’t Wilder...

 

Stiverne would probably win, poor pricey.

 

Stiverne hit Joyce with a right hand in the first round that would have sent Price into orbit.
