To be fair, he is an accident waiting to happen because he has only fought guys he can bomb out, bombing someone out doesnt prepare him for fighting at world level.

If he steps up slowly in opposition he will or should learn more and therefore be ready for the big fights....he isnt! and still isnt and fighting these guys he never will be.

Disagree. He's another Audley - and no one could accuse Audley of being brought along too slowly. He's almost exactly the same - size, amateur pedigree, skill, he even lacks a jab like Audley. When all is said and done price is just not hard enough.

And talking about bringing him on slowly, the guy last week was from the lowest tier of pro heavyweights and price looked ****. Stiff, robotic, no jab, **** defence, scared. He just so happens to have genuine world class power, it's a shame that it's going to waste.

Agreed - Him looking scared is a big worry

As **** as Price looked, I can still honestly see him picking up a world title somewhere along the line solely to do with his power. He packs a bigger punch than Wilder imo and, has proven it with how he knocked down a world class boxer in Tony Thompson and almost knocked him down again.

I do agree with you on the Audley part and being scared I said that in my previous post.

'Price may be a good guy, but he's another Audley...as soon as he start's taking them he freezes'

Briniging him along slowler can only be of benefit to him.

That's what shocked me in the second TT fight - Price looked scared right from the start.

Audley was brought along ultra-slowly. Didn't do him any good.

Dare I say this but I actually think Audley is a better boxer then pricey. The only thing that saves pricey is that power, but when he steps it up I can see del-boy, Fury, wilder all walking through him

I also couldn't believe how bad he looked. I was questioning myself, was I missing something?! Price doing the shoulder roll, with his amazing reflexes... if the little fella would have thrown something we might have had another disaster.

Such a shame. A great bloke but I honestly think he froze again. Also thought he would have stopped doing that pawing ****ing jab and started putting some real spite in it.

Can see Fury terrifying Price but Del Boy is reckless enough to walk onto a monster punch, would be interesting for the few minutes the fight lasted.

  10. That fight on Sat was a waste of space for Price who has learned absolutely nothing from his 2 defeats.

No point building confidence fighting 50 punchbags then falling apart against the next fighter he faces who can take and throw a punch.

One thing is for sure fellas it's soon going to be open season in the HW division.

Post Holmes pre Tyson for those of us that can remember but would like to forget that era!

maybe not, but he had at least gone into the championship rounds a few times so knew the stamina / fitness was there.

I really do hate Price's jab.

With the power he's got, his jab should pack some real venom. Be something to be feared. Not a little pawing slap like a cat batting at a ball of string.

First time he went 12 was aginst Julius Francis i think, he stunk the place out to get 12 rounds under his belt against a bloke he should have bombed out in 3.
