David Price vs John McDermott, 11th June

Looking forward to this one as I think Price got a lot of talent and it's good to see Big John in another decent fight.

See this the same as thw whole Smith/Degale/Warren situation - Maloney is sacrifing an older one of his fighters for a younger, more promising one of his fighters. Although Warren gave Smith home advantage, Maloney is more obvious as to who he prefers to win by staging it in Liverpool!

 

Good to see, fair props to both its a good fight I dont blame Pricey for fighting bums up to now and Big Johns a tough cookie good to see

Smith and Price are the ticket sellers thats why the fights were in Liverpool.

If DeGale could shift 8,000 in London the fight would have been there.

 

Also another reason why this is in Liverpool is because the Main event Is Paul Edwards vs Chris Edwards for the British title

 

The reason this is in Liverpool is because in Liverpool you can draw a great crowd for any boxing event and Pricey needs to be built up here imo if he puts himself about a bit more he could become a great attraction.

 

Should be a great fight. A real test for Pryce this, can't count out big John though.

 

I wouldnt be surprised if price gets shown up here.

Prices Jab has to be far far better...if he flicks it like he has John will close distance and work his way to a points win.
