Portside, I like Tyson too but your love is blinding you.

Price has not had that many fights yet, this is a decent step up.

McDermott is decent but Price would get the job done. He would not fight inside with big John and would jab his head off. I can't see Price getting caught with the overhand rights that gave Tyson so much trouble in in the first fight. This would be the only real danger for Price IMO, he's too big too strong.

Larry is not the right fight for Price at the moment though I certainly wouldn't mind watching it!!!

olympic bronzes , nearly a hundred amateur fights, he's to big, he'll need a bit more than size to go much further, and as for tyson, id be ashamed to hold my head up, if a 22 yr old was out doing me in every department, whats happened to pride, at least mcdermott was game enough to try his luck, no shame in losing, but their is in avoiding.:think:good

There's no shame in losing to someone that is better than you!!!

Price is not avoiding, he's progressing.

This should be a big year for him in terms of stepping up but we will have to wait and see.

I'm a fan of them both and I don't see the rush. Would have liked Price to have faced a little stiffer opposition but I can understand the problems with promotion etc. As Tyson's people will confirm it is difficult to get decent learning opposition when you are as big as they are.

Will, i have to say that the general public need some excitement in the job, heavys that is, i had great fun watching fury and mcdermott, to be strait neither price nor fury may make a world title, but in the uk it could be a great fight, why wait, its worth as much now as ever, sprotts , rogans etc have all had their big nights, id like to see it for the vacant brit belt, if all this rivalry goes on with no fight, i'll be the wrong side of the grass by the time it happens.:patsch;):good

I was at Fury McDermott II and what a great night it was.

There's plenty good domestic fights out there, there is no real rush for that one. I see no reason why it can't happen towards the end of the year. To accuse either of avoiding the other is at this stage at best fantasy!!!

Also it may be worth more in the future but that is not my concern. Like you I just want to see good fights.

Would love to see Tyson in against Audley, would be worth it just for the build up!!!

An eliminator... one of them really strange boxing words. Surely every fight is an eliminator? After all if you lose you should have even less chance of winning the title.

I still cannot believe people are buying this Machimana. I guess you can fool all the people, some of the time!

Good step up for Price, interesting to see how he handles the better class opponent.
Fancy him to win this one though......
Beats Mcdermott and Fury all day imo

Price has everything to be a totally dominating heavyweight, if he can adopt of Wlad type jab he could go far.

good to hear that he has been over in America training.
