I'm in the general forum. As someone said before, "if you can't argue with the ******s you may as well **** them".
Too early to say, we havent seen price in with a real test thus far althought Mcdermott was supposed to he didnt do anything except hype Price up. Id like to say Price but at this moment he needs a fight or two more at domestic level, one against Michael Sprott and then honestly take a fight with Nevin Pajkic just to compare himself with Fury as the fight was stopped somewhat prematurely Then he can step it up and take on Helenius
How about now? Thompson proved Price to be just as chinny as he was thought to be, related to his amateur career. Helenius himself showed up very rusty in his fight against Tank Williams. It was a comeback after difficult surgery and long break from boxing but although Helenius looked rusty he still proved he have a solid chin, taking a big shot from Williams and recovering from it quite fast. I'd say based on what I've seen in their recent fights, Helenius would ko Price quite easily. The first big punch he lands, then it's all over. And if Price lands first, Helenius may have chin enough to take, recover and go for the kill.
Helenius has poor defense and footwork, but he has power that he carries to the later rounds, he'd probably KO Price with the first big shot he lands
You can't judge Helenius by the Chisora fight because he only had one arm, after the fight he had surgery, took him lots of time to recover. Vitali Klitschko had the same surgery when he fought Byrd, after that fight Vitali had over 2.5 hours of surgery.................however, Vitali easily won every round against Chisora with only one arm, not bad, with two he would have knock Chisora out, no doubt about that.................
I wouldn't put any money on this fight. Price, I understand, but Helenius is the enigma. If he came into the ring in shape and motivated, and he could withstand Price's offensive barrages, I could see him KO'ing Price. But I think Rob may be mentally shot, and I KNOW people are underestimating Price. - He made a very foolish move against Thompson, but Price is a smart fighter, and likely will not make that mistake again. So, if Rob is sharp, he catches Price coming in and ends it with one shot. If Rob comes for the paycheck, Price overwhelms him with hard combos, and takes him out late.
