Well, besides the early knockdown I actually have slightly more confidence in him becoming a decent contender.
He stayed calm and composed after being dropped and just went to work.
Thing that caught my eye is that he kept his right hand up catching the left swinghooks from pala at his glove.

He has a big weakness, so he will never be a dominant heavyweight but in the post Klitschko era he might win a trinket against a weak beltholder.

Here's the fight.

Bit of a flash knockdown on the part of Price. Seemed okay; Brooks' council to Price after round 1 is pretty interesting. He looked completely differently coming out for the second and especially the third.

 

Hearns was KO'd by ATG... not a journeyman. Price got dropped in this fight too. Be realistic. Price loses to most top heavyweights and the top LHW.

 

Price got some serious balance issues. Every times he throws a punch he looks like a drunken sailor. Besides that it also looks like he has really got a glass jaw. Illegal punch or not, he shouldn't go down against a guy like Pala. It's a shame because I respect him more as a person than Fury or other trash talking boxers.

 

Pala is no joke, if you followed the heavyweight division a little more closely you might know that. He's a tough European level guy with good pop, he gave Chisora all he could handle and was robbed by terrible British reffing. Price just laid this guy out without any controversy. Good win for Price despite the early KD.

 

I wouldn't put too much hope into this guy, he's still a KO waiting to happen. I'm surprised Pala didn't beat him. Price looks like he boxes on skates.
