    D Reid doesnt get mentioned much now.
    Reid/Vargas would have been a big clash at the time.
    I think this would have been a close tough fight and could see an arguement for either.

    IIRC Reid got thumbed in the eye during a match in the Olympics. The thumbing damaged his eye (particularly the retina and cornea). Reid had a couple minor surgeries, but suffered from Ptosis (drooping of the eyelid).

    Sounds pretty bad. It's been said his handlers rushed the Tito fight because they figured that eye would catch up with him sooner or later.

    Since giving it some more thought, I think Canelo would sneak past at LMW, with possibly a KD making the difference

    Reid was whipping Trinidad's cheating ass before he got stopped with illegal wraps.
    Reid would outbox and maybe stop Canelo late.

    How was he going to stop Canelo? Reid had no power.

    Plus, he was a good boxer but not as slick as Lara. This was a clash of styles that would benefit Canelo.
