Can he be a legit contender?

6'4 with good power. Anyone know anything else about him?

Beck was ruined by the damage SNV did in his masterclass clinic. It's a shame. Beck was a Jamaican hero and one of their few ATGs.

    I remember that brutal ownage.

I wonder why SNV chose to unleash the fury against the mighty Owen Beck when he usually so chivilrously refuses to win with power and conserves what might otherwise be career ending punches?

Any insights? Was there personal emnity?

He really has to fight a legit opponent next if he wants to make waves.
This win will probably give him a little burst but he has to fight a guy like Rossy or old Williamson next.
Nice domestic fights against guys that can actually still hold their own.

If he passes that test he should look for an Estrada or Oquendo type of opponent.

If he's still breathing after that he can go for one of the real (top25) guys.

Nah, he has chicken legs, no real power to speak of, and a lack of skill.

the guy he's struggling with in the video above is Robert Davis
who got KTFO in 1 round by Joe Mesi 8 years ago...

He looks like an exciting fighter, but Arreola will kill him.
