David Rodriguez says a fight with Darvarryl will be a big step up in comp that he is more then ready for. the unbeaten prospect goes on to say that not only is he ready for a GATE KEEPER opponent as he classifies williamson but he feels he is ready to take on the heavyweight elite.

on a side note i have seen this guy fight half a dozen times and even though it was aginst poor opp he dose have a good stiff jab that he fires in a downward angal due in part to his hight well over 6' on top of that he got an exellent uppercut that he is not reluctant to through but the way he uses it is impresive to me he hits you with one of his good donward jab then jabs to the body steps to the left and fires another one i have seen this same combo 9 or 10 times is 6 fights and its resulted in a KO EACH TIME not sayin this guy is the the next coming or a world beater by ne means BUT I THINK HE DEFF WORTH KEEPING AN EYE ON.

PS. a bout with Darvarryl will be a great gauge bout hope it comes of.

n e more insight on this kids chances in this shallow talent pool we call a heavyweight div would me apresheated THANKS

Williamson has a big right hand... a dangerous fight no doubt.

Bout damn time he steps up. I thought he was just going to stay on the local circuit forever. Williamson is a winnable fight for him because Williamson doesn't have much of a chin, but I suspect Rodriguez would get beaten if he steps up much more than that. He reminds me of a poor man's Tommy Morrison.

DR is a *****. ***** doesn't want to be more than a "local fighter". I heard he's been on the record saying that.
