    Round 1 Concepcion 10-8

Huge first round for Luis he drops Sanchez with straight right and again at the end of the round but that was ruled a slip.

    Round 1

Concepción storms out with a series of long sweeping hooks and intercedes with quick triple left up-jabs and uppercuts on the chest...and DROPS the mostly quiet Sánchez with a MASSIVE ONE-TWO! Sánchez is sent flying and lands prostrate with a thud. He gets up and starts to kick into gear, throwing body hooks and standing toe to toe with the Panamanian Tasmanian devil. Concepción is jabbing into the arms, then bowling a straight right into the belt line. Sánchez is under heavy fire, backed into the ropes and looking ready to wilt, but just as Concepción moves in for the kill the Mexican finds a big left hook downstairs to slow him down and escape with some lateral movement. BIG 1-2 again by Concepción, rattling into Sánchez's brain pan even as he raises his gloves to partially block it. Huge fuselage by Concepción, battering at Sánchez's defenses. Sánchez goes down, but a slip, after blocking many punches, just the sheer force of them on his arms scrambling his balance.

    10-8 Concepción

The sad part is that I noticed it while attempting to get a stupid Televisa stream to work and seeking alternate links on Twitter, not realizing it was even on beIN Sports en Español, which I actually get on TV. :gsg :exmad

Edit this please, borderline spoiler-y - especially as you acknowledged just a few posts ago that you've peeped the result.

    Round 2

Concepción is herding Sánchez across the ring with his jab. BIG uppercuts inside by Sánchez, fending Concepción off and buying himself moments to regroup and set himself into a smooth motion going backwards, finding his footing and then leaping in to meet Concepción with flying body hooks. Concepción eats a couple of big right hands below the ear (the equilibrium-sapping kind that have leveled men like Darren Barker, and thrown full-force by Sánchez) and shrugs them off like nothing. The reputation of Concepción's dodgy chin may have preceded him tonight but he is disproving the gossip here.

    10-9 Concepción

    20-17 Concepción

Eh, I've got momentum already. :deal

Plus, it could have taken place yesterday, Concepción vs. Sánchez is just explosive fun on paper...and in practice, as we're seeing now.

I'd go outta my way 10 times outta 10 to watch any fight involving these two even knowing the result. Both very good, exciting fighters.

    Round 3

Sánchez is circling back and to his left and putting out a stave-off jab, but not accomplishing much with it. Concepción attacks from outside, dialing in the right hand up high on the head. Sánchez is throwing big volleys in a net at Concepción, leading with hooks downstairs and slashing down with big right hands to create a dangerous asteroid field. Concepción just steps through and takes what he needs to in order to get to mid-range and blast away on Sánchez.

    10-9 Concepción

    30-26 Concepción
