    Round 7

Sanchez is getting broom-swept around the ring by Rosas' looping body shots, but setting his feet and teeing off with sharp combos. Sanchez expends a bit too much energy and starts punching wide, missing. Rosas is bowling in soft body shots, missing as Sanchez creates distance and then moves in from a side angle to clinch. Sanchez is leading with rights, diving in, missing, hit with a soft jab by Rosas.

    10-9 Sanchez

    69-64 Sanchez

    Round 8

Sanchez is turning quasi-southpaw, feet equidistant from his opponent, neither in front, squared up, sort of pawing with his right glove in a jabbing manner and then curling in left hands. Sanchez goes full-on southpaw now as he turns Rosas, whipping him across the head with right hooks and throwing a left uppercut on the body. Rosas is partially spitting out his gum shield, hurt and/or tired. Back to orthodox, Sanchez continues working the body from mid-range while cranking Rosas like a spit-roast. Looping rights on the head and lefts on the body by Sanchez. Rosas is battered with two-handed uppercut combos, jaw hanging slack, eyes closed, head snapping back. Still he doesn't fall back. Tough SOB.

    10-9 Sanchez

    79-73 Sanchez

    Round 9

Sanchez is ducking away, letting his upper body swirl temptingly in front of Rosas before yanking it away with Rosas jumping in to miss with lazy jabs. Rosas has noodle arms, pushing his punches more than ever, just falling in, grabbing onto Sanchez for support after his misses. BIG counters by Sanchez, building into extended body hooking combos leaning in. Sanchez skips away from Rosas and turns his cheek to roll with a lunging left hook.

    10-9 Sanchez

    89-82 Sanchez

    Round 10

Sanchez is hooking under Rosas' elbows. Rosas folds up. Clubbing right by Sanchez. Rosas is hurt, ready to go. Sanchez opens up on him. BIG FAST BLISTERING COMBO! Rosas covers up and finally moves backward, cowering on the ropes. The white towel flies across the ring.

    TKO10!!!

I think they might be that's why we're all so close, I put all my picks up at the beginning of the month and everyone seems to follow suit, I guess I'm going have to wait until right before the fight to make my pick now. :think:yep

Really nice showing by El Tornado, extending his 4+ year undefeated streak to 17-0 (13).

Why doesn't he avenge that most recent loss to Mario "El Huracán" Macias? :huh

It seems like it would be the easiest thing in the world to make happen (they're countrymen, both fighting mostly on the domestic circuit, and Macias is still pretty active, fighting next month in fact), and to accomplish. Macias hasn't been the same ever since his loss to Kameda, going 3-6 and stopped four times since then. Plus, the loss was only a split decision and came when Sanchez was a teenager. Why not erase that blemish?

Or, for that matter, have another crack at Miguel Tamayo, against whom Sanchez drew earlier in 2010 before the Macias defeat? Tamayo is a rugged journeyman but should also be easy work for the much improved El Tornado at this stage of their careers.

El Topo had never been stopped in 48 career bouts, having fought the likes of Cobrita Gonzalez (the kid who popped the cherry of Antonio Margarito's hyped-up KO artist nephew, Hanzel Martinez, via KO2), Daniel Rosas, Zolani Tete, Cristian Mijares, Simpiwe Nongqayi, Fernando Montiel, Rodrigo Guerrero, AJ B****, and Carita Lopez.

Never mind, it will be a replay of his 2007 WBO 115lb title defense over Cecilio Santos. (unless they're rematching at super featherweight, where both now campaign)
