It´s ok to take a rest, no problem with that.

BUT:

How many times now he has badmouthed the Klitschkos and told the world he would easily beat both? How many times now did he have the chance to fight a Klitschko? How many times did he not fight a Klitschko always with a new excuse?

I am just tired of that garbage.

Even IF he really needs some spare time, why not make a fixed deal NOW to fight a Klitschko in 3, 4, 5, 6 months.

...on the other hand we all have seen how much such a deal is worth...

The Klitschkos are so mighty that they have made Haye quit before he even sets foot on the ring, what does that say about Haye? :yep

What are you his mother. The man is meant to be a professional athlete he had two average fights hardly what anyone would call a war and he needs a rest :-( how long will he take off when he has a real war.

Ducking them is one thing. But badmouthing them, saying how they only fight bums and THEN DUCK THEM! That's just completely disgraceful. Haye is the worst thing that ever happened to the HW division and its fans since Ruiz won the WBA belt. Haye has through his conduct turned himself into an obstacle and a cancer of the HW division.

Nobody needs to see him fight more over-the-hill nobodies while finding excuses why he can't fight the Klits. The sooner this fraud retires the better.

 

David Haye said he broke his hand against Valuev, and thats probably why it wasn't too good of a performance. Haye was in the ring only a few short months later to fight John Ruiz. That is the type of competitor that Haye is! So, basically now Haye would just like to rest and fight his mandatory fight next instead of Klitschko. The timing just isnt right for the fight.

 

But he badmouthed the Klitschkos since 2008 and in all the time (nearly two years now) he had 3 (4?, 5?) opportunities to fight a Klitschko.

Vitali will be forever remembered for his disgraceful quit-job versus Byrd, and his face being brutalized by a shot fat old Lennox Lewis.

Wlad will be remembered for being one of the most boring fighters ever and being brutally starched on numerous occasions.

In 15 years time, they will be forgotten. They have no defining wins.
