Just my opinion but I really see Tua taking out AJ fast and furious.
I don't think Joshua s Chin could take it?

    Joshua could win...

...if Tua went on the 'Ruiz Jr. Rematch Diet' and came in at 265.

I've always thought that Tua would have knocked AJ out within 4 rounds if he was focused. AJ only wins if he boxes safely but that would also require Tua to come in unmotivated and disinterested.

AJ in Ruiz 2 mode could outpoint David Tua.
If AJ tries to win by knockout - he would be knocked out.

I'd favour the AJ from Ruiz 2, though obviously Tua would have a significant punchers chance. As dangerous as his hands were, Tua's feet were awfully slow.

Tua's feet were slow - but I don't think they were as glacial as that of a 283.5 lb Ruiz Jr.

Agreed. Slow enough for the AJ of Ruiz 2 to be favoured, just, on the balance of probability, imo, though.

Any version of AJ that tries to take Tua out is likely to be the victim of a highlight reel KO.

Tua has slow feet and if you have a decent level of jab and footwork and height advantage and reach and use it, he can’t get near you, keep him off balance by feinting and moving laterally, he needs to get set to throw punches, he doesn’t have quick feet and can’t close off opponents.

    Tua by KO.

I always thought Joshua was overrated - like a more fluid Frank Bruno.

Despite the vitriol he inspires now, both of the best versions of Fury, the superb boxer of Wlad or the more heavy-hitting boxer-puncher of Wilder 2 would have made a fool of him.

AJ is also a dickhead and always was despite his carefully crafted public image which was more transparent than a ****ing window.

His embarassing hissy fit after the second Usyk fight showed the real man.

I think AJ wins fairly comfortably if boxes sensibly, ie Parker and Ruiz II.

AJ wins. Tua was one dimensional. Maybe not this version of AJ but prime yes.

I’d give Tua a chance yes. He had excellent punching power, an iron chin and was awkward. David Tua is one of these fighters who teeters back and forth from being overrated to underrated depending on what day of the week it is

AJ on the Ruiz 2 plan outboxes Tua wide.

Not a big AJ fan but damned if Tua isn’t undefeated all-time on this forum.

    It’s amazing he ever lost.
