Any aggressive, come-forward power puncher poses a significant risk to Joshua.

Yes, Tua is generally overrated - just not, by and large, in the domains of front-foot aggression and power-punching.

Tua got outboxed x2 by Hasim Rahman ffs! A cautious AJ outboxes him comfortably imo.

People always overrate big punchers but the truth is Tua was only a moderate talent who couldn’t win a strap in the alphabet era. Tua brought zilch to his title shot vs Lennox Lewis. A heavily hyped disappointment about sums up that fight and Tua as well.

Tua def. has a chance, but how much of one?

AJ could opt for the Ruiz 2 stay out of harms way strategy but he still appeared so leery and vulnerable executing that game plan.

Super Fat Andy Ruiz met AJ’s strategy at least half way - disgusting the shape he came in for that fight.

Against Tua, Lewis performed a clinic - out of harms way but still landing sufficiently powerful warn off shots. Lewis, far more capable and, in fact, durable than AJ.

I think Tua needs land only 1 or 2 big shots to give AJ a case of the “Kenny Nortons” - AJ then hurt and, consequentially, falling apart mentally, unable to mitigate the effects of the initial damage and disruption to his game plan -

Depends on which Joshua, PreRuiz Joshua would probably take the win but this version of Joshua would fold after the first danger from Tua...

Six or seven years ago, I doubt I'd have given Tua much of a shot (against the post-Wlad AJ). However, Joshua has proven to be limited and vulnerable enough to justify a doubt, in my opinion.

It's not a fight I'd immediately see as a betting opportunity, but the right price on Tua could be a value for money punt.

Tua at his pre-Ibeabuchi weight (220) would catch AJ in the 1st round with that money punch (the left hook).
Tua at his post-Ibeabuchi weight (>235) would probably catch AJ with that money punch, between the 9th-12th round, similar to how he blew out Hasim Rahman, Oleg Maskaev and Fres Oquendo.

Out of all.pf the modern super-heavyweights I think AJ is the most overrated.

UK press adulation, being perfect for BLM as a spoksperson and spouting racist ****, he was a media darling until a human Michelin man beat the living **** out of him.

    Harsh?

    Yes I know.

I'd favor Joshua from Ruiz 2 to get home but i wouldn't stake anything big on it.

Ferg, I think Mr Joshua (sadly) probably, probably outboxes Tua after showing him his power, Tua just follows him around shelling up.

Although I picked Joshua this is one of those thread titles that deserves a yes and a no.

Tua would knock out Joshua ....... some of the time. In a ten fight series I think Tua would win three of them by KO and lose the other seven one way or another. Hence my choice for AJ.

I don’t think so either, I think AJ just hits hard enough to make Tua blink the way Lennox did. I don’t think David was very good at cutting distance so if you get him thinking about the long range artillery you can shut him down.
