    Truth is...Tua isn't even close.

Tua has been dominated in his losses...Vitali has never been dominated.

Which is why I said rate Klitschko higher. Even though his resume is weak, you can clearly tell he's a good fighter. (Though, I think Leiws busted him up pretty good, but I don't want to open up another one of those arguments. We'll just disagree on that one)

Nobody thought much of Rahaman before and especially after the Lewis fight, and if anything by the time Tua fought Rahman-Rahman had been permanently ruined by Lewis. Ruiz got dominated and beat by a former MW-he was never special to begin with. Maskeav biggest win in his career to this date has been beating Rahman, and before he fought Tua he lost his only other big fight against Oliver McCall by 1st round KO. Don't make it implicitly sound like that era was that much better or deep.

Those guys are in their 40's and are still top ranked contenders.
Therefore, this era is full of shot guys, who never quite made it to the top in the last era. If you want to diss the previous era, it just plunges this one down even furhter. It's irrefutable that the 90's era was much better.

Dave, I like you, I really do. But be a little realistic here.

Im a Tua fan and fellow countryman, and what is the point of this thread anyway? Just to let you know that Tua is fighting 3 fights within a 84 day period against Friday Onionfryer and Bruce Seldom and an as yet unnamed opponent after these two are dealt with.

To consider Tua's fight with Lewis as better than Lewis vs Klit is puzzling me more than just a bit. One fight was competitive and close and one was a soul destroying moment in what up till then was stellar career. Hes on a comeback trail and its not just about cashing out.....its about climbing off the floor and into the unknown and giving it all you got till you aint got no more left.

Once the attempt has been made then maybe Tua can erase the stain that one bad fight with Lewis left on his career.

David Tua should really try and fight his way up the WBA rankings. A fight with Haye or another WBA paper champ is very winnable for him.

Lewis had a way tougher time against Vitali than Tua, to argue this point is idiotic.

I vaguely remember the 90's as the ear when a 45 year old man actually won the HW title against a young Moorer who had defeated ATG Holyfield....

Not such a good argument to diss the current era because of old guys being contenders. An ancient Holmes gave Holyfield all he could handle and beat Mercer. Foreman had a good career with five grandchildren. A crack addict won a portion of the title. There were simply more exciting American fighters around in the 90's, a lot of how great that era is perceived to be has to do with media attention.

This simply is an idiotic post. I think you are just trying to pull our leg. Either that or you are Kevin Johnson on the downlow.
