Last time I heard of Tua he was sweeping floors at the same gym he was living out of. Hope his next bouts pay his bills and give him some dough to retire on.

The top half of his body looks effeminate for some reason (even with the muscles) must be the swimming costume neck thingy he's wearing.

Tallish, but they're not "bigger" on average, once you live in a city with Tongans and Uso's then you'll know.

I hope he does get a comeback going and earn himself another good payday.

But I kinda doubt he'll get very far.

I doubt Tua would be able to handle Sam Peter or Arreola at this point.

But we'd all love to see Tua get the chance!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish him luck. Hopefully, he can get a fight soon. He's not getting any younger.

He needs to fight someone on the club level and KO him in classic Tua fashion in order to generate a bit of interest, then step up to a Vinnie Maddelone or Mike Mollo level opponent.....

Nordic and Slavic people are bigger, but Somoans have the largest and thickest skulls of anybody

Did a presentation on them in anthro back in college, supposedly somoans would throw large boulders at each other, and through natural selection only the hard headed survived. Interesting stuff

Legs look a bit disproportionate to his upper body and I bet he has a good deal of flab on his belly under that shirt, which is why he's wearing it in the first place in that kind of a flex pose. In any event, who gives a **** since this is boxing not the Mr. Pageant contest. In terms of actual boxing skill, Tua was, is and always will be a one trick pony, albeit one with a kick ass chin.

Pointless as both are irrelevant. You will see this about Chisora this year.

Here's an interesting story from Ronnie Shields when Tua and Golota used to spar, both in the thick of their primes:

"Tua's ability to take punches didn't always work in his favor. According to Shields, Tua's main problem was he would start slowly and then wait to land a big punch rather than staying busy. His ability to walk through his opponent's shots abetted that tendency. It also led to some interesting sparring sessions in the early days, when both Tua and Golota were promoted by Main Events.

"We were training down in Vero Beach, Florida and we let David and Andrew spar together," Shields remembered. "I was training David and Roger Bloodworth was training Andrew. It was like a real fight, back and forth. And then Andrew started hitting David low. David went back at him, hitting Andrew low.

"They just went back and forth hitting each other low. It was crazy. We had to jump in there and stop them. Andrew was a big, strong guy who could really hit. I think it angered him that he couldn't hurt David even though David was so much smaller than he was. That's why he started hitting him low."

GOLOTA - POST BOWE BRAWL- ARTICLE EXCERPT

Moretti offered some insight into Golota's character with a story about the aftermath of the riot at Madison Square Garden following the first Bowe fight in 1996.
"It's like 3 in the morning, and it's still crazy at the Garden. So the police put all of us in a paddy wagon to take us the one block from the Garden to the Southgate [Hotel] across the street," Moretti said. "We're all sitting on the benches, and Golota is sitting next to one of the cops. When we get out of the van, Golota lifts his sweater. He had stolen the cop's nightstick."

Ah it's like the 90's again! Good times!
Tua can **** up Billy Dee Williams or whatever his name is.

Tua vs Denis BoytSTIFF would be good.
