Ive been watching this for 1h and 7 min and so far ive seen the replay of the Heavyweights and the Light- Heavyweight bout... :nut Watched some FNF to kill time. This is ridiculous.
Don't forget that you have to sing the New Zealand anthem in Maori first and then English. Because it's racist if you don't spend the first couple of minutes singing the national anthem in a language that 96% of the population don't even slightly understand. The presentation of the event is frankly embarrassing but that is nothing new. One of the charms/frustrations of New Zealand is that pretty much every event looks like it was held at the local high school's gymnasium. :hat
Round 1 Barrett is keeping a busy jab in Tua's face, turning him with two or three quick lateral steps at a time. Tua has yet to get a shot off, just pawing with his low jab as he rotates to keep up. Barrett is landing far more jabs, to head and body. Tua has hardly snapped one out with any real purpose. Tua now doubles it to set up a right hand but just goes behind Barrett's flank as the bigger man keeps moving and turning aside. Barrett slap-parries a jab and skirts against the ropes. Nice 1-2 by Barrett, lands flush on the skull of Tua. Barrett uses movement on the outside. Tua comes in with a haymaker and misses. 10-9 Barrett
A lot of head movement by both fighters. Barrett working the jab, high and low. Tua backing up a bit. Barrett measuring with the jab. Barrett circling to his right, still nothing much happening. A lot of feeling out. Barrett still meausring and moving to the right. Crowd breaks out in a TUA! TUA! chant. Tua moving forward slowly. Tua swings and misses with a right. Barrett ties him up and a nice jab by Barrett circling away. Left hook by Barrett and holds. Barrett jabs followed by a right hand! Tua, throws misses. 10-9 Barrett.
