Is this a bad match up for Big Daddy, who had a habit of getting stuck in? Or does Tua getting handed another loss similar to the Lewis fight?? Bowe, from Holyfield 1 meeting Tua, from his ko of Ruiz? 12 rounds.
In Tua, we're talking about a guy who literally needed 11 rounds to get past the jab of Oleg freakin Maskaev. He's not beating the 92 Bowe. Only the elites in heavyweight history beat the 92 Bowe. Not some guy the level of Tua.
Daddy easily.Tua never beat a good very tall fighter.Otherwise Tua is overrated and to me his performances were disappointing several times. Not to mention Tua hadn't significant footwork considering his "short" and fat stature.
As dangerous has Tua was, I'm thinking most belive he gets beaten handily here. Unless.. Riddick gets caught up in a slug fest and Tua s hook s start connecting regularly with Riddick s chin! That could spell doom for Big Daddy.
Bowe wasn't a terribly good fighter from the outside, so I believe that his length is going to be a less important factor than people think. If he can keep it at range he could probably win handily but I don't think he can. I'd pick Tua on points; I think he would make Bowe regret his fightingstyle.
Nope! Just another bad match up for the vastly overrated Tua who accomplished more on this forum than he ever could have or did in real life.
Bowe wins easily. Tua might score a knockdown if Bowe gives him a chance, and he's up for the action which Tua certainly was not in the Byrd and Lewis fights.
Bowe would have some scary moments, but more accurate and more to his arsenal, would win a UD. taking some hard punishment on quite a few occasions.
I get that Philly, what you say about him being overrated. And how he's a monster to some on here. Lewis proved that wrong. But, despite him being slow at times, fact is against Bowe the opportunity could be right there for him to smash Bowes jaw. That's why I liked to watch Bowe, at times he was so open, look at him in Holyfield 2 and 3. I'll stick with Bowe winning but give Tua a punchers shot.
Riddick would beat winning every single round but Tua chin would help him to lose by UD not by TKO and Tua would have his moments but that's it. Tua was outboxed by Ibeabuchi,Byrd,Rahman,Lewis..... I think Bowe win this without strugle
Tua is the perfect opponent for Bowe. Both guys like to dig their heels in and throw bombs, but Bowe is faster, stronger, more skilled, and has a wider arsenal of punches. Chin I'd say even *gasp*. Tua only is better with the left hook. The fight is pretty even for 4 or 5 rounds before Bowe's sheer mass and higher overall skill wears Tua down and he takes over. Tua would have 2 options: turtle up and accept a lopsided decision loss, or continue slugging and get stopped late. Yes, Bowe is one of the few guys who could flat out stop Tua.
