    Pick em fight.

This is the kind if opponent that we should be matching Tua against.

Lastarza was the epitome of the term carefully matched .
    What are his best wins?
Layne, a debatable decision over a Layne that Marciano had ruined .
Buccerroni, a fringe contender who had also beaten him.

Brion, another fringe contender who lost every time he stepped up.

Here are just some of the guys he"missed".

    Baker
    Satterfield
    Henry
    Charles
    Walcott
    Valdes
    Bivins
    Harrison
    Gilliam
    Dunlop
    Walls
Tua would hunt him down and stop him .
Roland was a decent boxer without top - end power and his mobility was not fantastic. Laying on the ropes gets his ribs crushed and his head busted.

I can see LaStarza putting up a good fight. He'd go eventually, but I think he'd do surprisingly well for a while.

Off his record Lastarza didn't merit a title shot,he got one off the back of beating Rex layne whom Marciano had pulverised and holding Rocky to a close decision ,when they were both up and comers.Three fights before his title challenge he lost to 14-9-2 journeyman Rocky Jones who floored him.

I guarantee you anyone who had watched both Tua and Lastarza' s major fights would not be picking Rollie here!

when he is defending old timers janitor is a ****ing biased troll because many times HE KNOWS what he is doing and do it consciously and of course that he knows that tua wins this fight, simply he never will admit it

    I disagree.

However carefully he had been managed Lastarza was the current #1 contender, and Marciano was right to give him a title shot.

A fighters management is within their rights to match them against soft opposition.

Again, proof that ratings at heavyweight are not a transferable quality between eras. Were Lastarza around in the 1990's we would not know his name. His type, a smaller, frailer stand-up, classic boxer simply had not successful correlative in the heavyweight ranks. And as noted, his record was largely padded.

Tua KO's him, most likely very early but largely dependent on how motivated he is.
