Tony Tucker, of the Tyson fight David Tua of the Lewis fight. Reason I picked these two losing fight s for both, is that they were both basically shut down by the other, Tyson and Lewis, and lost unanimous decision. They were made to fight a certain way by the superior man. What happenens here? Who s the superior fighter? 12 rounds to decide.
Hard to pick actually. Tua carried tremendous power until the end, Tyson was a machine more early. I would not put a single cent on this fight
It is a tough one I'll agree. I've put Tucker but not with great certainty. Does Tucker fight a similar one as he did verses Tyson and lose a decision? Or does this fight have shades of Tua v Lewis and see Tua being shown as a hard hitting plodder, getting his head boxed off?.
Tucker UD over the best version of Tua. A no brainer win for Tucker over the listless, timid, overweight Tua that fought Lewis.
Bad style matchup for Tua. I see him being pretty easily outboxed here. The version that fought Lewis I doubt really ever gets in close enough to do serious damage with more than maybe 1 shot. Tucker also had a really good chin in his prime. So even if Tua connects Tucker should take it. Absolute peak condition Tua probably still gets outboxed but would have a better chance of a down on the cards late rally.
However h2h tua destroys marciano, dempsey and if a porky like galento had Joe down and hurt by a left hook only god knows that would happen if tua landed clean in his chin. You don't like Tua too much right?
