This is how you stay active, stay sharp, stay motivated, stay relevant (with highlight reel KOs)...and how you wriggle free of a restrictive contract so you can put a really good late run together.

Imagine a fight between Tua and Haye...
    Wow dynamite in the air...

And a hell of a lot more exiting than the klits hammering some helpless bum...
Boxing needs to get rid of these two fraud brothers, who are ruining the sport.

You can't make those kinds of comparisons, though. Ruiz's chances are pure corruption. Tua isn't even top 15 in WBA right now. Obviously he'd have a better chance with Haye, but the WBA would have to be greased properly. Maybe Tua doesn't want to get in bed with King (Tua's been raped before).

Yeah, this is fair... I forgot how highly he's ranked with WBO. After the 3 "contract fulfilling" fights, the WBO should be willing to set up an eliminator for a mandatory, especially if the third fight is a reasonable opponent (Fields?? please, tell me you're kidding). A title shot in early 2011 is very possible (Wlad fights Chambers in the spring, a voluntary in the fall, then ready for winter 2011).

Fields was not a serious choice, just grabbed a somewhat-known-but-not-dangerous heavyweight name out of the air to fit the pattern with Bruce and Friday.

You're definitely right, it would be best if the three opponents were staggered so that each was more of a step up than the last. Say, Seldon followed by Ahunanya followed by...I don't know, Brewster? The Estrada-Adamek winner? :think

Maybe it's what he loves, but more likely its 'what he knows' as the only way to make a paycheck. That's fine too. I just think it would be tough physically and emotionally to get yourself into top condition only to get beat up (or lay down) for probably pretty low paydays relatively speaking and especially compared to a couple of his fights in the mid 90's. Especially when you can only do this for so long at his age. To me it would be better to either attempt a full scale 'Foreman style' comeback (not comparing seldon to foreman but start with a few years of real low comp and then gradually try and step into some higher profile fights) or to figure out some other way to make a living.

The leg pics were from the Tua vs Cameron weigh in. Tua steps up every fight now. Seldon, the Friday, then an eliminator. What's wrong with that. And he stays in condition, as it's 3 fights in 84 days.

I think Tua could really make an impact. Im looking foward to these fights. If he wins them all he is going to be very sharp and powerfull as hell.

Man, Tua has amazing set of pins. Physically strongest heavyweight in the world. Not a smart fight for someone as fragile as Seldon. Once he get's touched, he's done.

Great second fight back for Tua. He will get a Ruiz-style knockout in this one.
