I recall Chris saying in an interview he wanted this fight but David retired.. Who takes it? My bet is on Tua KOing him in 5 rounds. :bbb (Needs no further explanation)
David Tua in his prime I think would have no trouble beating Arreola either by knock out or by decision. I think Tua was much more explosive, faster and overall just a lot more devastating. I could see him taking out Arreola early or late in the fight and if the durable Arreola doesn't get knocked out I think Tua would be much busier and land the better shots throughout the fight to win a decision. I've always been curious as to what people would think about Tua vs Sam Peter.
Prime for prime, Tua on points, Arreola has a solid chin.. If they were to fight now Arreola would knock him out, simply because he's been more active, not to mention he's 10 years younger, and over a half foot taller.. Tua lost to Monte Barret for fukk sakes his days as a legitimate threat are long gone..
:nono Yeah An Aging David Tua got knocked D O W N. I mean really. Tua aging or not I can't take Arreola seriously as a boxer. He refuses to get in shape, coming to the weigh-ins overweight and making excuses as to why. Tua at any age would butcher Arreola.
Pathetic as it sounds, it's Arreola's fight to lose. If he gets if shape, moves a little, and jabs, he wins by decision. Whether he actually does that, I don't know, but men with worse schooling than Arreola have given Tua problems.
