David Tua recently won his bout against Shane Cameron while David Haye won his WBA title from Valuev. David Tua has been waiting to get a title shot since. David Haye has to fight Ruiz in April first and if he wins, the fight between David Tua and David Haye may occur soon. Vitali or Vlad Klitschko do not want to fight either fighters.

WTF?!? Tua is not "waiting for his shot" at all, get your facts straight.
He has a contract with a NZ based broadcaster which will be a big hurdle in any negotiation, so he is having a quick 3 fights in 84 days to clear that, then he'll be look at getting himself a shot - assuming the third fight doesn't end up being an eliminator. This means any title fight against Haye would be at least 3 fights away for Tua.
Not to mention of course that Haye is likely to be held up with a rematch from Valuev (if the freak show decides to enforce the rematch clause in their contract) as well as a mandatory defense.
As for the Klits - I reckon they'd take a fight against either guy in an instant. Either brother would knock Haye on his ass, and they'd fancy themselves to be able to use their advantages to deal with Tua as well.

What has Tua done to earn a shot at the champ? Beaten a local competitor? If by waiting for a shot you mean literally being lazy on his ass for years without fighting, then I agree.

Why fight 3 nobodies? He should be getting a shot against VK after he disposes Johnson.

Because the contract with MaoriTV (which he signed to get PPV on his fight with Cameron as he had 1 fight outstanding on his contract with MTV) limits the amount of money that wil be able to be made - and of course this impacts the fighters purses. MaoriTV is only offering $50k NZD for each fight.
Of course a lot of guys say they'll take on Tua, and a lot of them would, for the right money. But no one with a name is going to take a risk against Tua for pocket change.
The only other way I see him landing a decent fight while still under this contract is if one of the sanctioning bodies names an opponent and makes his last of the three fights an eliminator - then maybe there'll be an incentive for someone to take the risk and get in the ring for the reletively small purse that will be on offer - but thats still a large maybe.
Tua hasn't done enough to warrant getting in the ring with Vitali - and after only fighting a shade over 1 round in over 2 years it probably wouldn't hurt to have a couple of quick fights anyway.
This programme of fights keeps him busy, in the ring, training, all the things we've all wanted to see from Tua throughout the years - a busy motivated guy. OK - the competition is limited, but at least he'll be training and fighting constantly for 3 months.

Prime Tua would give Haye nightmares but this older version is here for the paydays. Never happen. Bad match up for Haye. He doesn't like short come forward fighters.

Klitschhko's have avoided fighting David Tua . Tua's only chance to get a title would have to be from Haye.

C'mon man - I'm a big Tua fan, but the Klitschkos are avoiding him?!? How'd you come to that conclusion? He hasn't been active enough for anyone to avoid him at the end of the day.

i'm of the same mind...though i think they could have fought him, there was no reason to. he wasn't ranked, he's still dangerous (for as far as his left hook reaches anyway...) and he, unfortunately, hasn't come close to earning a shot.

I think he's got a chance against any non-klit heavy. not that i would favour him against the top 10 but a decent shot

Tua's style, even at his age, is a ****ing nightmare for Haye. I'd keep well away if I was him.

I can see why you might feel this way. And I'll admit Tua has a steep road to climb if he want's to accomplish anything in the ring, but I think the shape and weight he came in at for the Cameron fight might just be an indication he's going to take it seriously. Call me an optimist :yep
Even today, a fit and in shape Tua is not only dangerous, but a downright handful for anyone in the division, and I'd honestly back him against anyone not named Klit. Even then I think he want's to show he can do more than he did against Lewis, so if a fight with Wlad particularly happens I'd be excited to see how he goes, but I do have questions about whether or not he could win that fight no matter what he does.
