This^^^ but a technically more skilled haye could maybe use his superior jab and skills to win a decision against a prime tua....now, haye wins a WIDE UD...

Absolutely! We're gonna be a bit spoilt for heavyweight action here over the next year or so - Tua has 3 fights in 3 months, Cameron has planned 5, possibly 6 fights to try and get some momentum going again (I reckon he needs to drop down to cruiser but will he listen? lol) and the Aussies are starting to get their act together and fight each other as well :thumbsup

yeah, you gotta figure the lewis fight is still on his mind. the biggest opportunity of his life and he couldn't slip the jab for 8 plus rounds. after the 4th he was just there to take punches...he had such potential and that fight lingers in peoples minds and paints a picture that tua will never rise to the elite level. i hope he can change that

I'm not so sure about that - but then we dont really know what Tua's bringing to the ring and we know exactly what Haye does.
Tua's inactivity is legendary - but most people forget that this has 1 little added bonus - his body isn't as banged up as other 37yo boxers' are. So while we know Tua's aged and probably isn't what he once was, we only really have a little over 1 round in over 2 years to judge this on.
I'll think I'll make a call on this after Tua's next 3 fights - so probably June next year
But suffice to say I think right now - if Tua caught Haye with one good shot it'd do enough damage that Tua would finish him soon after, Haye on the other hand has to go for the UD, he cant knock Tua out. So the question is really, can Tua land the big shot? Can Haye avoid it for 12?

lennox lewis shouldn't be the only title shot he had. Tua was suppose to be fighting several title holders, but none of them would give him the title bout. Haye has to fight Ruiz, why does Ruiz get another title shot?

A lot of experts and boxing fans say David Tua would have perform better against Vitali Klitschko compared to Chris Arreola. Arreola was pressing Vitali throughout the fight making Vitali himself counterpunch and move backward . Arreola may have lost every round, but he never lost his fight.

Bring David Tua to the ring with Vitali Klitschko, you will see a closer fight in comparison to Arreola-Klitschko. On the other hand, David Haye may not stand a chance against either Klitschko, but other heavyweights including Tua can take away those belts from either Klitshcko.

Vitali would knock Haye out, so would Vlad.

Tua would knock Haye and so would Arreola.

Good to see a Tua fan admit that. I've always been a Klitschko fan but I always thought Tua was an exciting fighter with an excellent chin. I'd love to see your favorite fighter beat Haye, but I gotta admit I'd also love to see either Klitschko brother knock Haye out for all that trash he talked.

im not sure if tua is ready 4 the klits (i maybe wrong). but i do think if he fought haye, tua would ko him. i know one thing: i love watching fighters like tua. he's no tyson, and never will be. but he's the closest thing to it that we have today.

haye may better stay away from tua. tua would just have another great highlight KO if they ever meet. haye knows it good. he wants no business with tua.
very wrong , either fighter wants no **** to do with either klitschko.

When Tua gets Hayes mandatory, he for sure needs a lot of roadwork, since Haye will run from him without throwing a punch for 11.5 rounds - and "win every round because Tua couldn't connect on him!".

I think Haye will continue to avoid the brothers - as he should, he hasn't got a chance.
Tua's another story though - it's not that he gonna beat them, just that if the fight came up I reckon he'd take the opportunity with both hands.
Tua's chances against Haye are pretty good IMO - not so much against the brothers, but then I keep thinking that no-one out there a the moment can out-box the brothers, so it looks like to beat them you're going to have to be a shorter guy, with good head movement and a big punch.
Again - not saying Tua's gonna clean them out, just that I think he'll have a better showing than guys like Tony Thompson, Juan Carlos Gomez and Chris Arreola. Tua may actually be able to make one of the brothers fight a bit.
