David Tua vs. Demetrice King (vid)

I heard the offer was $400,000, this coming from his manager. Team Tua figured it would barely cover expenses. Solis was offered almonst $2 million cause he was, or was seen as, the mandatory. Tua was just a guy floating around when Klit offered him that. Tua needs to get in a better position. First, Barrett. Then a top ten for a mandatory or eliminator, and he'll get his $2 million next year.

Tua looked better under Chris Martin than Bloodworth, although Bloodworth was in frequent contact with Tua and Martin during training. But let Bloodworth go with Adamek, and Tua should stick with Martin. Martin is local, and doesn't need to travel to work with Tua.

Tua was throwing hell for leather the last 20 seconds, trying to KO King. But he was rocking him with some of his punches, and was way ahead on the scorecards, so why take the chance against a power puncher?

 

I am going to have to agree that I think Tua was better with Chris Martin. I think he should stick with him. I know he will want to stick with Bloodworth if he is available, he has these odd loyalties to people which is why he gets taken for a ride. Same reason he hasn't cut that mug Kushner. I swear no good can come of things with that drunk calling the shots and arranging the deals.

I guess Martin is with him till the Barrett fight. Tua is a ****** if he then dumps him after that if the fight goes according to plan.

 

Ya I think he was being careful tbh (shoulder), I liked how Tua boxed smart, dont care for the knockout. If that version of tua faced Barrett he woulda won.

Smart move, now out of contract & hope he carries on boxing smart. It'd b awesome if Roach coached him :happy
