Like every Tua fight I guess , its all good unless he can catch you on the ropes , if that happens you're probably ****ed .

Would Tua's left hook still be effective and useful with that height difference?

Tua by early KO or Wilder by decision. Given the nature of Wilder's chin, I'd favor the KO for Tua. I'm not even convinced Wilder would beat Tua today, to be honest.

Wilder would need smelling salts to revive him from the wind of one of Tua's punches. Lord knows what state he would be in if one actually landed flush on those glass whiskers of his.

Definitely. Wilder doesn't really know how to fight tall as well as guys like Wlad or Lewis and his defense is nothing to write home about. Tua could certainly land a bomb.

To compete with prime Tua, Wilder would need a great jab to take full advantage of his height and reach advantage and a decent chin, doesn't have these things.

This wouldn't even be close. Tua by decapitation in less than one round.

I am not sure Wilder beats an old, fat, out of shape Tua now. Certainly not if Tua lands a meaningful punch.

I think even a late 2000s version of Tua would be a very risky fight indeed... Today he's just too old and shot though. The version who destroyed Cameron and Montana v.s Wilder would be interesting.

This. Prime Tua kills Wilder, current Tua gets puffed getting in the ring - which makes me quite sad.

Very much a styles making fights thing though, while a fight between Wilder and Fury would be competitive with a Fury win, Prime Tua retires Wilder, Fury makes Prime Tua look like a whacky waving inflateable flailing arm tube man hunting for hooks and finding nothing.
