David Tua vs Earnie Shavers

i would go for tua by ko ,the better chin wins

 

hmm both very hard punching guys so i will go with the above : the better chin wins

 

Tua's as safe a pick as you can have against Earnie Shavers.

 

I would go with Tua, I think he was the better fighter but he should be carefull in his haste because Earnie could repeat the Savon thing with one punch, although Earnie kind of lost it when he stepped up in class

 

Tua, unless Earnie lands first and can capitalize on the damage. This is pretty much a battle of who has a better chin, and who can land first, and I think Tua wins both.

 

Shavers one of the few fighters who would have a chance of genuinely sparking Tua, but I think Tua's chin plus his power vs Shavers (who didn't have a great chin)............Tua stoppage within three in an absolute war.

 

Bummy, dead on ! Great point regarding Savon bout.

 

Tua was a teenager when he fought Savon who was in turn a grown man.

Using this fight for anything is pretty insane, Quarry's demolition job of a PRIME Shavers tells us a lot more about how this would go.

Great chin beats great punch (it also helps that the great chin in this case (Tua) has a great punch himself) I'd back Tua
