I find it funny how all are saying this is dangerous matchup for George but on the other hand when it comes to Tyson-Foreman most are picking Foreman to easily win, but now that Tua is in the question Foreman will struggle? Last time I checked Tyson had speed, skills, two hand power over Tua and a chin just as good, and legs just as thick. :hey What does Tua have to beat Foreman? He has nothing over Foreman, people who say Tua is more skilled are insane! Whenever Tua faced an A grade fighter he lost. :deal And dont bring up that Ike lunatic what the hell did he ever do to deserve any praise? :huh

Nice post. Tua is an urban legend. He knocked out a past it Michael Moorer (like that's never been done before) and Ruiz. The great John Ruiz. Every time this fat ****er had an opportunity to actually accomplish something (Byrd, Lewis), he folded up like a cheap lawn chair. Any version of Foreman would've made this guy clam up and take a beating.

Foreman wins....shorter crouch fighters are tailor made for George

Interesting thing about that is Evander sparred with Tua to prepare for Tyson as well. There was footage of it in the build up to Tua vs Lewis and Holyfield and Tua are kinda going to war hardly light sparring. Wonder how he compared David's power with the other guys mentioned.

    damn man relax,
    a. i dont tyson is an easy fight for foreman or anyone else and to be honest
i pick tyson to beat foreman.

    b. give me a break about tua folding, lewis and byrd outboxed him...they didnt fight him toe to toe....which foreman will....
    very different fight.

    c. yes foreman distroyed frazier, but frazier is one fighter....that does not mean foreman beats every short fighter out there. ps tua is 25-50 pounds heavier then frazier, makes a difference if your trying to push some around

    d. why the fcuk did foreman get alway with shoving guys all the time....it's like the ref letting tua hit him low or come in with the head....it makes a difference.

    e. you guys put down the ruiz win lol......ruiz gives everyone tough fights and no one expect tua has been able to look good against him

    f. everyone talks about how no one could succefully come at foreman and brawl with....the reason foreman looks this way is because he choose not fight guys who could....in prime he didnt face guys like shavers and quarry...
in his comeback he stayed away from guys like ruddock, mercer etc

he fought one guy like this in lyle and almost got ko'd

Tua wanted no part of Lewis. He basically gave up during the fight.

Here's what happened when Tua felt a little power:

"He's afraid to take a chance".

This slug is going to be any version of George Foreman? Please.

Even the one who had troubles cruiserweight Perralta? Or the version that wilted against feather-fisted Young? Or went life and death with the decidedly b-level Lyle? Or the one who went life and death with career underachiever Alex Stewart? Or the one got the lucky end of a robbery against Schultz?

    Any version?

First off, Chuvalo was as strong as Tua. That was just a response to an earlier post.
Foreman's going to hit Tua with shots he has never been hit with. If Tua tries to slug it out with George, forget it. Tua would do best coming in lighter and faster than usual.
    I still see Foreman winning.

I think Tua was way stronger than Chuvalo. I can't be the only one.

It may seem that way but fact is that the "Young" Foreman faced far tougher and more skilful opponents than the "Old" Foreman did! Which is why "Old Foreman" may have appeared to possess increased punch power and punch resistance! With regards the original question, Tua, for all of his laudable attributes was rather easy to hit and against "Young" Foreman that would be a recipe for David to suffer a 6-9th round KO/TKO. Against "Old" Foreman, IMO Tua would win by UD.

:good. I found that particularly surprising, given Tua's previous performances, reputation and comments before the fight, but a "Focused" Lennox (As he undoubtedly was for the Tua fight) was a great heavyweight and David found that out!

Chuvalo was reported to be very strong. I'm not referring to punching power.
I was referring only to strength.

    No he's not.

Chuvalo was strong, especially for the time and I think he was a pretty big weightlifter. But few fighters in history are as strong as Tua, the guy is a bull.
