All sarcasm aside, one can make a compelling case for either guy, really. Tua let li'l Chris Byrd slap him around and win a decision, remember? But Young didn't have the greatest work rate. The Tua who fought Ike might simply walk through Jimmy and outwork him, knowing that he couldn't possibly get hurt. Or Young might school him. Neither guy is all that consistent....they could split 10 fights. Or it could be a draw like Earnie-Jimmy II. I think in a series of fights, there would be more than one winner here.
Depends on which versions fight. Young at any point around the Foreman or Ali fights probably schools David. Before or after, he gets outworked.
Do people even watch those fights? The second fight could've easily been a draw. In no way did Occasio clearly beat Young in the rematch. The first fight I don't know as I haven't seen it. Oh, and STFU.
The fat, inconsistent version of Young could actually *gasp* get out-boxed by Tua The Young of the Ali Norton Shavers II etc. would out-point Left Hook Tua by a handy margin
There was no point of fixing that. Your hate for Young burns like acid on human flesh. I'm on to you mister.
Classic is becoming vicious. Now that Mendoza ducked McVey, it seems that more posters are assured that someone they **** off on the internet usually will not fight them in person.
Boxed Ears doesnt hate Young, he's just a realist about his career and abilities and consistency. This content is protected
He was very damn inconsistent I'm not going to lie about that but he also was in some fights that could've gone to him(Dokes and Norton for instance). Young was still a spoiler and a pretty good fighter, not great by any means. He earned Frazier's respect for what it's worth so that merits higher than what any of us have to give about him.
