Could Fraizer realistically trade left hooks with Tua and live? I know that one is the ATG and the other isn't but Tua had a monster of a left hook and would out size Fraizer physically. And neither is exactly a defensive master so there'd be lots of punch trading here.

Tua blew too hot and cold for my liking. High energy and willing to trade Tua I think has a shot but I feel like Frazier outhustling tua to a decision victory is the likely outcome.

Frazier's hook for me is a bit overated for sheer power. For the ability to reload it and fire it again and again Joe is second to none.

The other thing with Frazier's hook that was so rare was he could throw it upstairs and downstairs. Tua is a headhunter with his lefthook and rarely went downstairs with it. Sure would have helped his career to have been a devastating body puncher.

That's what happens in this fight anyway--all joe ever did was throw his right hand to the body. He hardly ever missed with that punch. combine that with the viscious left to the body and I think anyway, the tuaman goes into his so called defensive mode, which does not win fights. He has to be like 80% offense and 20% defense type fighter and guys that can reduce that 80% figure will beat him.

So tua does not absorb the body punishment from this guy.

If they were found wanting in the chin department he would spark them, but good chins took a beat down with his left hook imo. Too heavy to take the amount of times he could throw it. Capable of ruining fighters

Most likely Tua tko. I don’t see Frazier withstanding the punches Ibeabuchi took.

    Tua KO.
Styles... I do think for example that Larry Holmes would school Tua, but would lose to Frazier.

Lol ....Tua is a ATG in some hypothetical fights....he lost all of his legacy defining fights in reality but here in bizarro world he rectified reality and accomplishes the greatness that eluded him in the real world.

I do think he (meaning Tua) was durable and would survive but he would be out classed out hustled and decisively beaten

Do ATGs have some kind of super powers or something? Regardless of who had a better career, I really like Tua’s chances against a mostly one-punch, straight-ahead, 200-lb pressure fighter. Sorry. Wouldn’t be shocked if Frazier won but he’s gonna be eating some very hard punches if he takes on Tua at his best.

Losing to 1 ATG doesn't mean you'd lose to another ATG, especially if the 2 ATG's have nothing in common stylistically. Losing to Lennox Lewis doesn't mean you'd lose to Joe Fraizer or vice versa.

My question in this bout is how would the smaller Fraizer take Tua's power? That would decide the outcome.

Yeah Frazier who went 9 rds with Jimmy Ellis in their second fight,11 rds with Mathis, the distance twice with Bonavena ,the distance with Scrap Iron Johnson,is koing Tua who was never stopped and only floored once when he was an old man. Sound logical thinking!

I love Frazier he's a great fighter and has the heart of a lion, but in this one he's outgunned. I like the Tuaman in 3-4 rounds.
