OH BEFORE YOU WAS MENTIONIG ONCE AND AGAIN THAT FOREMAN STOPPED TONS OF CANS AND USING THAT LIKE A POINT AGAINST HIM.. AND NOW AN ATG PUNCHER IS AN ATG PUNCHER AND DOES NOT MATTER THE LEVEL OF HIS RIVALS? YOU ARE VERY WRONG.. YOU ARE AN ALL TIME GREAT PUNCHER WHEN YOU HAVE GREAT AND GOOD NAMES IN YOUR LIST OF VICTIMS BY STOPPAGE

The point was not against Foreman as a puncher, but against him supposedly being able to finish opponents (any opponents) as quickly as Tua, supposedly when he was young or in his prime, but the facts don't prove that claim.

Once again, who did Earnie Shavers stop? Please, no "he hurt Holmes and Ali, almost KO'd Lyle, whatever". Who did he STOP? Or are you really claiming that he was not an ATG puncher?

IT IS A MUCH greater thing than stoping the bunch of cans that tua stopped... joe bugner had a very sturdy chin... and shavers really did hurt him.. LIKE A TOLD YOU.. I DO THINK THAT THE POWER OF SHAVER IS OVERRATED SOMETIMES, BUT STILL HE WAS MORE PROVED THAN TUA LIKE PUNCHER.

Bugner fight was stopped on cuts, not by KO. Not only that, but he had fought only twice in the previous 5+ years, with pauses of 3.5 years and almost 2 years respectively. Somebody here claimed Moorer's win doesn't count because of similar reasons.

Shavers stopped Jimmy Young in the latter's 11th fight, when Young had a 7-3-0 record. That record would be called a bum's record under circumstances.

Ken Norton was stopped almost every time he faced a big aggressive puncher.

So which good names did Earnie Shavers stop? I'm still waiting...

OK DO YOU WANT FACTS?HALL OF FAMER KEN NORTON WAS GREATER THAN ANYBODY THAT TUA STOPPED IN HIS COMPLETE CAREER.( AND PLEASE DON´T LOSE YOUR TIME WITH THE TIPICAL CRAP OF " NORTON GOT STOPPED BY ANY PUNCHER THAT HE FOUGHT BLABLABLA" THE FACT IS THAT TUA NEVER FACED NORTON AND YOU NEVER COULD PROVE THAT HE WOULD STOP NORTON, IT WOULD BE ALL SPECULATION RIGHT?.:hi:

Which big world-class punchers tested Bugner's chin for it to be a meaningful criteria? Paul Brown, I suppose, his both two wins are by KO so he must have been a huge puncher. 11 losses don't count, he wasn't trying for a KO in those fights.

Was Ken Norton listed as the 5th worst heavyweight titlist in history in 1981 by the Ring magazine experts, yes or no? Only John Tate, Primo Carnera, Marvin Hart and Leon Spinks were seen as being worse than him.

Ken Norton is 1-2 against Ali. The scoring is open for debate, but the fact is he lost two fights, just as he did the Holmes fight (several other fighters who were not ATG's also gave Holmes a hell of a fight during his reign). I had him losing on points to Young, should I move that from his winning record to the losing record because of that? No. Thus, Norton's overall record vs ranked opponents is 4-7-1. It was 4-6-1 by the time the Ring magazine experts had that vote.
