:patsch They had the same amount of alphabet title chances with Tua at least getting the real title shot that Chris Byrd and Ruiz never got while doing a hell of alot less overall and actually losing to one of them.

    David Tua

vs. Lennox Lewis IBF and undisputed Ring Championship

    Oleg

    vs. Rahman WBC Title
-Oleg only got this shot because Rahman wanted to prove the first fight was a fluke.

Oleg vs. top 10 ranked opponents
    3-4

Tua vs. Top 10 ranked opponents
    1-2-1

hmmmmmmm, Oleg had more bad losses but he was certainly more active against top 10 opponents. Neither really making that much of an impression against the elite.

Tua had two more chances to get a title shot, drawing to Rahman and getting outpointed by Byrd.

    Thank you, come again, Tuatard.

Oleg was thrown in to the wolves quite early with better match-making he could have been more successful. Also probably not by much. My opinion to Tua is anyway known.

Tua looked like trash until pulling it out late against the skilled but inexperienced and always fragile Maskaev. Story of Tua's career for the most part. Hardly a dominating force was he?

.... I can't take a guy with Tony Tucker as his avatar very seriously.
    :dead

Oleg got more chances to fight top ten ranked opponents, because he wasnt' feared as much as Tua. Get it through your head... why fight Tua when you can fight a knock off in Maskaev or Rahman- both of whom Tua beat!

... Tucker would run for the first 5 rounds before he tired and then get smacked, IF he faced Tua in Tua's first 30 fights!

Avatras are avatars, boxing posts are boxing posts.

You have been owned, the whole purpose of your thread is shot to ****.

You told us to look at boxrec, I did.

Your argument was that Oleg unfairly got more title chances, when in fact he didn't. FACT. CASE CLOSED. YOU HAVE NOTHING. GOOD DAY TUABOY. Now you want to spin this **** into Oleg getting more chances against the top 10, which is just mind numbingly dumb.

    AND FOR THE RECORD:

    TUA VS. RAHMAN 1-0-1
    OLEG VS. RAHMAN 2-0

    SUCKAAAAH

Tuatards are a funny lot, apparently the man who took one of the greatest offense forces in history to the final bell is going to get knocked out by the turtle.

Man, Oleg's team really threw him to the wolves early. It's surprising he accomplished as much as he did considering how tough they matched him up - so much for a gradual learning curve. Get knocked out by McCall in your 7th fight? Why not throw him in with Tua in his 12th?

... Maskeav got lined up for more fights. His handlers did a good job with operating the boxing politics, Tucker-Sucker.

After Lewis, Tua should have gotten an alphabet title shot... he didn't because the other chicken shits like Ruiz, Maskaev and the lot of them- including Holyfield- were scared as **** of his power.

And for the record, Tua's record is BETTER than Maskaev's with regard to top ten contenders and future world title challengers!

    Good day Sir!
