... King or Arum can get Tua a fight with some guys he can beat and massage the rankings to get him where he needs to be. Styles makes fights... and if I were Tua, I would not have taken the second Barrett fight. Look at what Holyfield did to Sherman Williams for some second or third tier alphabet title shot? Quit on his stool and said he had a cut so the fight could be ruled a no-contest... then he went on to fight Nielsen for larger money and for better prospects. And for what? For Holyfield to get a shot at the Klit's before Tua does? I would much rather see Tua pounded than to see Holyfield pounded....

To be fair, a Tua vs. Holyfield fight should be made. :)...
    :deal

I think the Klit's are promoted by tom Loeffler... not sure if it's the correct spelling. But I doubt he can pull in big money- for what it's worth- the way King can for a fight.
    :-(

I dont see how anbody can diss Tony Tucker, he went 12 rounds with a prime Tyson AND a prime Lennox.

The guy was a straight up certified G.

Tua had a good punch and that was about it.

Someone mentioned John Ruiz knocking Tony Tucker out?

A guy who took Tyson/Lewis to the distance vs

    (This ones for you Mongoose)

At least Tucker won the title, something Tua never did.
    And i like Dave

... I felt sorry for Ruiz when I saw this fight. Then I saw his other "hug-fests" that I was glad he got flayed!

Back when Ruiz kept getting gift decisions in hugfests, this KO was a vital way for boxing fans to stay sane.

Unfortunately, losing to Barrett puts him off the Klitschko's radar.

He blew his last chance- The Klitschko's make money no matter who they fight, and quite a bit of it, and have already said they don't want to waste too much time on guys, who, like Tua, are coming of losses or dubious wins.

And before somebody tries to throw Chisora at me, he was atleast undefeated, and Wlad kicked him to the curb the second Haye nutted up.

Tuas super high risk, super low reward.

If you beat him, you beat a fat slouch.

Who would have thought that THESE were the last days of the Super Ko's in real, top class heavyweight championship boxing? I never thought I would have seen so many lousy dives and crap MD's in all of my life. And the Klit's aren't monsterous Ko artists either... they bore you to death with a jab and then either make the guy quit- by just not wanting to be pouned anymore- or the other guy quits himself because he is out of shape and knows he has lost the fight, totally, by the 8th or 9th round!

Pathetic! The last big ko I saw in a real fight that actually meant something in the HW division was with Tua's face-**** of Ruiz just then... then Dreck Jefferson nearly killing Maurice Harris with the punch from hell with hate... and Tua nearly murdering Moorer (if that were anywhere else, it would have been attempted murder)... other than that, the days of the big ko are gone!

The Klit's have to go scaling the bottom of the charts to get fights. It's sad... why not fight McCall or Tua, if they have to go down the ladder so much. A fight's a fight, aye? I bet Tua, even at this fat stage of his life, can probably rake in more money than Chisora or even Arreola at this stage of the game!
    :bbb

the rewards are there. Fight fans know they want to see Tua get a good shot at it... back in the days, guys like Shavers and Ellis fought as much times as possible. Don't even talk about Quarry and Chuvalo... they never won, but they kept on fighting- when Shavers fought Holmes, his career was pretty much over.

Someone said something about Bowe vs. Dokes.... if Dokes could have gotten a fight against Bowe, then so too can and should Tua get a fight against The Klit's.

Dokes was sh1t at that point in his career. He didn't even fight anyone with the likes of Barret when he got lined up to fight Bowe. Sham and shameful fight!

There is no reward for fighting Tua, he is old, fat and shot and irrelevant to the division, all he does have is that one magical punch. And i admit it has bailed him out quiet a few times.

Dokes was better than Tua. Different era, different circumstances

If Tua was serious about his career, he would have won a title by now.
