David Tua vs Rocky Marciano

Tua by stoppage.

The size disparity is too great and Rocky doesn't have any stylistic equalizer.

 

He crowded his opponents because he utilized his superior strength to wear them down .. he was not any sort of defensive master .. he would not be able to do anything like that against a Tua ..

 

Part of that was because guys like Tua weren’t making it past the Walcott’s and Charles’s of the division!

Can you imagine what Tua would have done to Rex Layne ?

 

His strength was part of it, but you can succeed on the inside without being elusive.

Rocky would crowd while taking minimal damage. He would rest his head on the side of your shorts, come up with a powerful uppercut, and then rest his head on the other side of your shorts.

 

reznick what are you talking about? tua had very good stamina.. he carried his huge frame and big mass without problems. dont be biased... marciano was ponderous and slow like hell, specially for a 185 pounder. " too elusive" :rofl

 

i guarantee you that more of the half of the guys that picked rocky by ko they dont believe honestly it... this forum is full of hypocrites

 

hell.. it is impossible that anyone honestly think that marciano beats tua... david was a monster physically!! i honestly think that foreman beats him but it would be a dangerous fight for george. tua was a tank, he would be a hard test for any puncher. it is not just about greatness or skill. styles make fights and the size , power and strength are very important. holmes and ali would make tua look stupid, but any puncher who trades with him will be in trouble. foreman is the only one that i thik that would beat him with pure brute force. tyson should outbox and outspeed him using lateral movement and fast combinations in and out

This particular fantasy fight requires a leap of faith, whichever fighter you decide to favour.
