David Tua vs Rocky Marciano

Tua couldn't stop the worst chin in heavyweight history (Rahman) but he stops Marciano? Now there's a ****ing joke

Tua would've been stopped by Lewis had he not BLATANTLY backed away from Lewis range in order to avoid punishment.

Ah, we agree here. I started with Yoga last week, it´s crazy **** too ... I expect to levitate myself in a few weeks.

 

Tua couldn't even ko featherfisted Byrd.

 

Tua sure looked **** in a couple of fights, but i think styles has something to do with it as well. He looked great against Ike because he was right there to be hit. Moorer and Ruiz, well, they were too close as well. Rahman would've always given him problems and Byrd and Lewis probably would've always beaten him.

 

Sure he would cos Rocky Marciano is just like John Ruiz and Michael Moorer right?

Look I'm not here to knock Marciano, a great fighter whom I greatly admire ... I just think the size and match up is not in his favor. Pound for pound he pisses all over Tua ...not to mention I prefer the guys with the heart to be over achievers over under achievers ...

Guys like Dempsey and Marciano were great because they would die before they quit or give half ass efforts ... I really respect that ..

The thing is Marciano is not right there to be hit. He is very good definsivly and has a great chin, together with his great bodywork were Tua was even hurt by Byrd that spells big trouble for Tua. He would be competative in the early rounds but when Rocky starts to warm up the bodywork takes it´s toll and Tua will take a beating.

 

Yeah, i think Marciano's heart could make the difference here. I was really disappointed by the way Tua pissed away the chance of his career against Lewis. He basically gave up after 3 rounds.

 

Marciano is there to be hit. He is no boxer. Name one fight he won by out boxing his opponent.

He has no jab to hold Tua off. He has no fast footwork to keep away and he cannot fight from the outside. Marciano was an average defensive fighter at best. Look at his face after so many of his fights. Tua is simply a terrible opponent for the much smaller Marciano to face off against.

 

Tua is terrible for Rock, even if Rock is the immeasurably greater fighter in an ATG sense.
