What do you think? Would Wlad's jab save him to take a decision, or would Tua's power and inside fighting ability put Klit's chin to the test?

NOTE: Although this is intended to be a fantasy matchup, its not impossible that these men may yet meet each other, given that they are both still fighting and winning.

Tua could win this fight if he brings his weight down to a respectable level. I'm guessing Tua fights comfortably between 215 & 225. If he shows up any heavier than that, Klitschko takes him out the same way Lennox took out a 240 lb Mike Tyson. Lennox should have arguably finished that fight earlier because Tyson had nothing and was breathing heavy after the third round.
Tua can make this a fight but Klitschko will be in shape and prepared to go the distance. Unless Tua knocks out Klitschko before the 5th round, Klitschko takes a unanimous decision or probably stops Tua late.

A fair call, although I have my doubts about Klitschko scoring a stoppage against Tua who's durability has never let him down. Still, a wide decision is certainly possible for Wlad.

If Tua is in poor shape, Klitshcko would stop him late. His durability wouldn't be an issue because one of the ref, the ringside doctor or Tua himself would stop this fight.

When has a doctor, referee or Tua himself, ever stopped one of his bouts? In 53 pro fights, Tua has never been KO'd or forced to quit. He has survived the power and pressure of many big hitters including Lennox Lewis and Ike Ibeabuchi. Frankly, I agree with you that a deconditioned Tua would likely lose this bout, but the odds of a stoppage just don't seem to ad up for me. Of course, I am making the assumption that if they fought in a fantasy matchup, they would likely meet in their primes, but I acknowledge that if they manage to fight sometime in the future, we'd be looking at two men who are both past their best, so anything is possible.

Amazing how many people give wlad a bypass on his poor chin/bad stamina. Whats going to happen to wlad when tua lands that left hook?

He may fold like a deck of cards, then again he may use his superior jab and reach to not get tagged to begin with. Wlad is very susesptible to falling to big leftys, but the key is that they must land first.

Prime Tua knocks him out late, I'd bet the house on it.

Any other version of Tua gets embaressed ala the Lennox fight, though.

Not a big phan of either. I can't give Tua any more than a punchers chance. Wlad has good underrated or not appreciated skills....currently i would pick a Wlad wide ud perhaps even a shut out...at their best..I would still take a Wlad UD, just not by as wide of a margin. Tua certainly could land just the right shot at just the right time...i just don't think so!

Klitschko by UD in a real clunker similar to the Ibraginov bore.

    Interesting match-up.

Tua would have a puncher's chance, and a good one at that.

Wlad does have the ability to stick, box and pound out a decision, though.

I think Vlad could keep him at the end of the jab most of the night providing he left David feel his power, much like Lennox did to keep David at bay but he has to be carefull like Lennox was becuase Tua knows that one of his well placed bombs can change a fight....other than that Vlad UD or sudden stop

Prime Tua at 225lbs was very fast, explosive, had stamina and ofcourse packed dynamite in his left hook (and had an underrated right).....either Tua by KO (any round but probably late) or Wlad UD. This would be a much harder test stylistically than any Wlad has faced for my money

I think a prime Tua would knock Wlad out late.
