Here we go again with Tua not fighting for a year. What a shame, I believe he could beat a number of heavyweights right now.

He should have been fighting every 3 months or so...It is so over for him.

A year away from the ring makes me wonder if Tua even wants to fight these days. Maybe he just doesn't have the fire anymore, and I can't blame him if that's the case. Boxing is a tough way to make a living. It's hard to put the blame entirely on his promoter, though. With the heavyweight division the way it is today, KO'ing a few C level fighters in a short period of time would lead to a good money fight for a guy with Tua's name.

I have no idea why Tua has not remained more active. He seemed to finally be doing some of the things he should ALWAYS have been doing when he reunited with Bloodworth.

Tua is a textbook example of someone who SHOULD HAVE followed the Foreman Blueprint.

I have no idea what the **** he is doing!

    :-(

    Good post.

Some of the problems Tua's had is with his management and there were stories of Kushner holding out for more money for Tua.

In my opinion he is completley ****ed and we wont see him in the ring again. I hope I'm wrong though.

It would be a shame if Tua's career ends this way. He's only 35 and he has less milage on him than most boxers that age, seeing as how he took two years off after the Rahman rematch and he's been off for a year since last September. It certainly seems like he could have put together one of those runs like Shannon Briggs did to get another shot.

Because in his last 12 fights he's won every single won except for one draw.

^But he can still KO just about anyone in the division. If he gets the right trainer and right motivation at the right time he can be HW champ.
It's surprisng Tua has never held a HW world title.

Yea, if he was serious about trying to become in the Heavyweight picture again he would fight way more often. He's finished.

I used to like to watch Tua fight, but now I am truly frustrated.
