David Tua - Why I'm back

I don't see why everyone is so down on Tua. He actually has the physical stature to win. With the right conditioning and tool set he could take down any top contender. Half the guys challenging now are blown up cruisers. Tua is legit.

 

I'm guess a Klit vs Tua plays out pretty much like Lewis vs Tua did.

Because Wladimir & Vitali have both been making of habit of knocking out opponents who've never been KO'd or even beaten at all.

I hate Haye & I still think he beats Tua.

 

At this point, i could see wladimir stopping tua...just on accumulation with tua getting his head jabbed off with the occasional right hand following it (kind of like brewster in the rematch, only lasting longer).

But chambers, brock, peter, arreola, chagaev, etc. don't have chins proven to the extent of tua. chambers is a good defensive fighter, but the only big hitter he faced was peter and peter barely layed a glove on him. peter has been floored 3 times by mccline, and arreola by travis walker.

Tua has taken shots from Ibeabuchi, Lewis, Maskaev, Rahman, etc. and never suffered a LEGIT knockdown and has rarely been shaken by a shot. Wlad could be the first, but I highly doubt he'd 10-count the Tuaman.

A war with Arreola would be the best, providing Arreola didn't weigh-in like Jabba the Hut.

 

If Tua beats Friday in a few days time then we can start talking about bigger fights.....however for now Friday is a very hard fighter.

 

Fair enough, I wouldn't bet on Wlad KOing Tua but I wouldn't bet against it either.

Friday isnt all that good...really very very average. good opponent for Tua...but saying its gonna be hard, ummm no....tua should blast him out , the guy will be standing right there in front of him...... friday doesnt hold a significant win vs anyone

 

It's not that he a great fighter...just very tough to KO.....He's been in with some good fighters and can take a punch or 10.

The test here for Tua is if he cant blast him out in 3 or 4 rounds is he ready to go 12 tough rounds.

Friday's been in with no fewer than 6 good fighters.

You really shouldn't need to be told which ones...

Friday doesn't have any one spectacular facet to his game, true - save perhaps his durability.

I expect Tua to become the first to knock him out but it will be no small feat.

 

I didn't say that, don't put words in my mouth, obviously the Klitschkos would win and huge favorites to boot.

None of those guys are as battle hardened or have faced the level of opposition Tua has, and the guy usually comes out untouched.
None of those guys have taken the punches Tua has.

And I need to pay attention do I?
