Even a "prime" Tua wouldn't be a heavyweight champion today.

Like Lewis said, other then that left hook, he's got nothing to offer.

I think Tua should have taken the Arreola fight when offered. Tua would have taken Arreola OUT.

  5. I don't think Tua really wants to fight anymore, when was the last time he won a meaningful fight:roll:He's been around forever, he gotta be in his late 30's he's got power and a good jaw but it's not worth **** if you don't stay active.

He should just call it a day..

I think he's only about 35, or so, now.

Tua came along at a bad time in boxing. He was a hard punching heavyweight who could have really hurt Holmes and Spinks, but nowadays guys are alot bigger than him. Although Tua's work ethic is suspect. He does not seem to be motivated to get back in the heavyweight picture.

Maybe he's accumulated enough money off his fights and just don't have the motivation to train anymore.

But then again, didn't he get screwed out of alot of money by his manager some time back. Not sure how correct that is.

Tyson vs. Tua would have been great.

Holmes? Holmes would jab him to death. Don't go by what Tyson did. Holmes came back form a year layoff to fight Tyson. Holmes had one of he best jabs as a HW.
