Davis' team chose Barrios for a reason

Before you start crowning the cabbage patch kid #1 just remember Barrios got his arse boxed off by a SHORT SOUTHPAW in 2019.. a Russian who had only been pro 2 years.. maybe team Floyd saw something huh? Just a thought.. & Barrios even said he'd happily rematch the guy yet never did. What's that tell u? What's a WBA regular title btw? Who in their right mind would revel in calling their favourite champion 'regular'? LOL.. you're only really applauding sanctioning body greed and mediocrity there… I personally see a talented but carefully managed, undisciplined & privileged fighter that avoids legit threats.. & like say i.e Wilders cohorts did with him somewhat they're building & manufacturing a phoney in house image for him.. marketing ploy.. smoke & mirrors.. for the low IQ PBC crowd etc.. They wouldn't let him anywhere near Josh Taylor.

 

Not talking about skill. I'm talking about the CLEAR cherry picking & bull**** that comes out of the mouths of their hangers on & promotional outfits etc.. ellerbe even stated they are going to keep it in house LOL… They don't have much faith in him do they… Limiting his competition to that extent..

 

Come on.. I don't think TR are trying to pass off any of their regular (whatever the fk that is) 'title' holders as multi weighters.. & Crawford is a 3 weight champion btw... TR are far from perfect but they have shown willingness to do cross promotional events… whereas Ellerbe has laid his stall out dismissing any 'outsiders' for Davis already.. that's not healthy.. how can Davis & his joy boys call him the best if his team aren't willing to test him against the best fighters in the world? & why would you want your team lying to you about trinket regular belts too? They're genuinely trying to pass him off as some multi weighter.. fat twat probably just ate himself out of 135, wasn't really the plan LOL.. yet they're tryna convince ppl he's jumped a weight to take on a champion.. someone with a history of struggling with short southpaws .. Floyd ain't dumb.. that's all I'm saying.. though many of the people that listen to him apparently are..

Never said Davis was bad. Velasco took an absolute pounding off Prograis tho, dropped him 3 times.. probably softened him up.. destroyed him to the body.. so we can't read too much into that… especially when you consider going into the Barrios fight Velasco had had one of his longest career layoffs.. was a fairly active fighter normally. And I'm sure you know I could cite you countless examples where fighter B got rid of fighter C quicker than fighter A etc.. doesn't mean that Barrios is better than Prograis.. I'd bet my house on Prograis walking right through Barrios. In fact I'd pick Prograis to fk Davis up too..
