Yep I think that’s part of the reason the WBC called off that purse bid. They put out a statement saying that Cruz and Garcia already had separate fights lined up. And that’s why Cruz was given Gamboa to get an easy win and look good in the process. They already have the storyline in place as Cruz gave Tabk his toughest fight. Whatever it’s been past time for Tank to step it up but I’ll be surprised if he actually fight someone within the top 5 next.
