Or, use the ol, his power bailed him out nonsense. But, I think Loma sees the end of the fight. Tank can be outworked. Loma would need to start fast. Be first and last in exchanges. Winnable fight for Loma.
I think Loma still gets it done. I don't think Tank enjoys any kind of size advantage. How long has it been since Lomachenko fought a dude his own size? It ain't like Tank doesn't get hit and it ain't like Loma can't take a punch. I think Lomachenko steps around Tank, doing his in and out dance and makes Davis increasingly dizzy as the rounds pass. When Tank begins to gas, Loma turns it up and ends him.
Twink has been shamelessly ducking Loma for seven freaking years and this is despite the fact the fight would be in his country with a deck stacked heavily in his favour, with a home ref and three home judges and Loma world have to spark him out cold to come away with a draw. Loma even offered to fight that little chicken for free and Twink still wouldn't dare pop his head out of the coop. Credit where credit is due though. He's a helluva fighter when dragging up C D, and E levels in weight, bashing up chicks, and when going on WBA regular belt strap season safari hunting electricians, plumbers, and carpet fitters His best win in a over a decade long career, and the only prime legit future, former or current world champion he's fought who was a champion at the weight he fought them at is Pedraza ie. the fighter Loma took on as a tune up just seven months after shoulder surgery when wasn't near 100% and at his surgeon's insistence had to devise a game plan around not throwing the most powerful punch in his arsenal Even worse. Loma not only hung around in his third division, even though he's tiny for the weight, he fought the #1 guy in his first fight at that weight and then immediately proceeded to try and collect all the other belts one by one on the road (sans accommodating his mandatory when one of the champs pulled out with an injury) and he's still campaigning in that division he has no right being in today despite routinely giving away huge physical advantages that no other fighter in the P4P top 10 is. Conversely, when Twink moved up to his third weight class to grab.. yep, you guessed it.. the WBA regular strap of a fighter who only won it on a robbery.. yep, you guessed right again.. from the three home judges against a 7 fight novice, instead of going after the real champ at the weight and trying to become undisputed like Loma did, Twink dropped the belt like it was molten lead and ducked back down to 130-135 even though he weighed more at 130 than Loma does at 135, a whole division more at 135 than Loma does, and was giving away way less weight and reach at that weight to them than Loma is at 135 And even even worse. Twink has weakened his two opponents above 135 with catchweights or rehydration clauses even though neither of them had ever even fought a world champion and, as said, Loma is giving away way more weight and more or a lot more reach at 135. Twink's reason for doing so: Because they were too big for him even though he was giving away 4-5lbs max to the biggest one Twink has fought one legit world champion who was a champ at the weight he fought them at in over a decade long career, Loma has fought six at 135 alone
Remember when Floyd and Twink were having that big lover's tiff and Floyd threatened to make the Loma fight to scare Twink back into his lane? Devin Haney 2020: ''Loma is too old too slow'' Tank 2019: ''Loma an old man. I'll retire him'' Floyd 2019: ''Lomachenko needs to fight as many fights as possible, extremely quick!, because he's very very old'' This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
Didn't read, but I'm going to assume that there is a litany of excuses in the above post for Lomachenko concerning injuries, age, and being a tiny guy with t-rex arms.
Twink won't rematch a crude oompa loomp C level caveman with the reach of a baby kangaroo Stick to cherrypicking, ducking, and beating up chicks like your sugar daddy taught you This content is protected This content is protected
Well RIGHT NOW, I’d bet on Loma to still outbox Twink. But if davis follows in his keeper floyd’s footsteps… he’ll wait a couple more years for Loma to slow even more. 4-5 years back when Loma called his ass out… he would’ve No Mased davis. 7-8 rounds of embarrassment.
Considering Lomachenko's victory over Haney (minus the corruption), I find it hard to see Tank doing better than Haney. Despite Haney having a weaker chin, his stylistic challenge for Loma is more significant. Tank's low output and struggles in recent fights, where he has been outboxed by lesser opponents than Loma, make it doubtful that he can outperform the Ukrainian. However, if Loma starts slow as he did against Teo, it's a wrap. It's not unforeseeable, given Loma's age and time out of the ring. The key for Loma is neutralizing Tank's game, putting him on the back foot, and exposing his reliance on single shots, similar to dealing with Wilder. Tank was outboxed by Hector Garcia, Isaac Cruz and Barrios. Unfortunately, none of them could knock the skin off a rice pudding so when they over threw, they got caught. Even in 2023, Lomachenko seems to have too much for Tank, evident in Tank actively avoiding the matchup. I predict Lomachenko will win 7-8 rounds, but unfortunately, he might be robbed on the scorecards with scores of 114-114, 115-113, and 116-112 in favour of Tank.
