Tank didn't answer any questions. He is far too hittable, and showed a bit of a dirty streak with his low blow attack on Santa Cruz. The low blows literally changed the fight. He's lucky he wasn't fighting a guy who could punch. Floyd can wait as long as he wants. Tank will never beat Lomachenko.

 

He was going to the body. When you commit to the body like he did some of those shots will be low. Tank has never shown to be chinny so I don't know where you're going there. You're right he may never beat loma but doesn't mean he's not good.

I didn't pick LSC but I gave him a shot to win if he could survive early and outwork Tank if he got tired down the stretch. This wasn't because I think that LSC is elite, it more had to do with Tank being unprofessional in the past struggling and missing weight not to mention fighting a whose who of nobodies and shot fighters since beating Pedraza.

 

You are absolutely right, Leo called out Tank. The same way Rigondeaux called out Loma. The thing is that Leo wasn't getting beat up, he just got knocked out. That can happen to anybody. He reached for immortality and it didn't work out. Gotta give him props for heart and gotta give Tank props for doing what he was expected to do by many.

 

Yes prop to these guys for trying to step up. It’s extremely rare for a good small guy to beat a good big guy. Garcia/Spence, Rigo/Loma, Brooks/GGG are just few I can think of the top of my head. No problems with them losing either cause they tried.

 

Not sure if he is chinny or not, he's been fighting the opposite of a murderers row. Blocking punches with your face leads to a shortened career. Tank already talks like he is punchy. I rate Tank. I just won't over hype him. He has talent. People are raving over him beating carefully selected opposition though. Let him earn the hype.

 

Blocking punches with your face is the silly style of fighting since it can lead you to a brain damage. One day you will find that you can't take punches anymore. Tony Margarito and Ruslan Provodikove were the masters of this suicide solution. He let his opponents hit him and he kept coming forward to hit them back. I just wonder why Floyd didn't teach Tank how to move his head.
