Very bizarre and an unsatisfactory end.

Barry was looking knackered but I suspect he was struggling to breath, perhaps damage to the nose?

Lenny done well...looked a bit a tense....he looked very relieved at the end and near the stoppage he was opening up.

I had Lenny opening up a good lead by the stoppage. Scrappy fight i think both were tense...knowing it was all or nothing.

Hopefully Lenny can get some more regular fights and get the belt outright.

Daws was pretty **** for a while there, but the pace took its toll in the end. Apparently Morrison was only training for 10 rounds, thats the word.

I had Daws by one round at the time of stoppage.

Barry just looked like he ran out of steam at the end. Pity, it was a really good scrap up until that point.

Ben Jones was robbed in his fight by the ref!

6 rounder, showed 4 rounds - I think I gave him 3 and 1 a draw, threw over 700 punches, landed the better punches, landed more punches and the fight was scored a draw :huh

Morrison did well until he started gassing out by the 5th, inactivity & those six rounders took their toll.

It was a strange fight, Barry was on top early, but when he tired Daws clawed his way back into the fight unspectacularly.

Then the drama as Barry tired dramatically but gave it one last big push to land the KO, before Daws got the stoppage.

Only thing that irritated me about the night was all the 'revenge' talk before during and after the fight from the SKY team, revenge for what? Barry won the first fight fair & square, I didnt get the 'revenge is sweet' angle SKY were pushing as if Daws had been the victim of some sort of injustice in the first fight.

Apart from that though, well there is no apart from that. Apart from this of course. Until Morrison tired, Daws was pretty hopeless in the fight IMO apart from being able to soak up the early punishment due to his sound chin & general good durability.
I think Daws best days are behind him though, & the best he can hope for is to win the lonsdale outright, I just dont think the guy is going to fufill his early potential.
Not a bitter thought just cos the scotsman lost, just an honest thought.
