i agree and disagree cause i am an american and thinks he need to fight all of them especially in his weight class i just wish he would get more respect than none at all. like the whole he's a fraud ****. its funny cause every young champ gets called that instead of plauding them for their accomplishments. 24 years old champion is alot to be proud about. i know i would be if was the champ.

He's a great physical talent, but he lacks a good chin and he is not mentally very strong, so he sometimes loses focus and gets himself in trouble. He deserves respect for what he's achieved, in the ring, but he also deserves to be disrespected for ducking his mandatory, breaking contracts, lying repeatedly, etc. He's not the kind of man you could respect by any means. In fact, I cannot think of any other fighter out there who has acted less ethically from a professional standpoint.

As to his future, how many great champions have there been, who didn't have a very good chin and who weren't on the ball, mentally? This is why it's not unlikely he's going to fall a bit short. He'll keep on winning if he's protected, but otherwise...?

thats why i am open minded. even when i stand ground. just look to see what happens. hes young and accomplish alot and he still learning from mustafa. which i think is doing excellent for dawson. he stays in dawson ear about his focus and guard.

Yeah, he's a great trainer for Dawson. He also knows his limitations; that's why the Diaconu fight fell through. It makes sense. Why take a chance when we can go the safe route that's infinitely better rewarded?

Dawson has not fought one single world-class puncher yet. If Johnson had been fresher, he'd have had him out.

dawson doesn't need to give that guy a rematch ... i'm really surprised that Dawson didn't get the KO stoppage.

see thats why you dont see me answeing to many of those question that deals with a fighter i dont know(diacono) i no nothing about him. just praising him for fighting branco and johnson which if not get the praise he deserve he should after those two especially wins impressively agaisnt johnson.like ill stand ground with dawson as a fan but wont engange in a foolish war where i guarenteed the victory.just conversate and pick up on knowlege on what i dont know. like with diacono through the fans and what research i may do. like i will agree with the ducking through a fan aspect.

My dear fellow, my point was that he couldn't take a world class punch, e.g. from Diaconu - a world class puncher.

You are so full of ****, Decebel. Dawson and Diaconu aren't even in the same belt path now, and you guys are still crying about it.

Dawson agreed to fight Diaconu, and Diaconu got hurt. We all know Dawson has wanted Tarver for years, and we also know that TV has no interest in Dawson vs. Diaconu. It's very simple.

I like Diaconu, and it's unfortunate his overzealous fans can't support him in his pursuit to build a resume, rather than tear down Dawson. Diaconu has no relevant victories and in fact looked poor against Henry. He needs to defeat Johnson and then hopefully Dawson vs. Diaconu will happen.

What are Diaconu's great victories since then?

If you just think at the point in his career where he was,it was a hard fight and I don't think they were 10 lbs, about 8 if I remember correctly mr.boxrec warrior:D

It's pretty sad that Dawson is coming off a very impressive performance against a proven world class fighter, to add to victories over Johnson and Adamek and people are talking about Diaconu who has not done **** except be unimpressive against what was a fringe contender.

    These people have issues.
